  1. Ubisoft’s F2P Shooter XDefiant Launches for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S This Month

It's a Ubisoft game so "completed" is a bit of a stretch. A semi-functional state akin to an early beta build would be more accurate. They'll spend the next six months to a year actually finishing the thing while raking in money from the player base. For Ubisoft, this is the way.
  2. Logitech Celebrates 10th Anniversary of Iconic G502 Gaming Mouse with New Promos and Prizes

I had the original G502 and currently own and use a G502 Hero and one 502 Lightspeed. My first one just got worn out. After working two jobs, including motherboard reviews and gaming as a hobby, the **** thing got a lot of abuse. It developed a double-click issue with mouse button one. I think...
  3. Bang & Olufsen Unveils $55,000 CD Changer

I can think of a lot better was to spend $55,000 on **** I don't need.
  4. Zack Snyder Shares Plans for Rebel Moon: Part Three as Director Receives His Worst Reviews to Date

Agreed. It's hardly limited to those two either.
  5. Target Denies Rumors It Will Stop Selling Physical Media In-Store and Online by 2025

This is accurate, for reasons I cannot understand.
  6. Atari Revives Infogrames to Acquire and Publish Non-IP Games Outside of Its Core Portfolio

I seriously doubt any of the original Atari company and personnel are left. So yeah, they are just names.
  7. Zack Snyder Shares Plans for Rebel Moon: Part Three as Director Receives His Worst Reviews to Date

Ryan Johnson is a pretentious dickhead who thinks he's brilliant and is obviously full of himself. One interview he did was especially telling in that it leaves no doubt he was a bad pick to helm a Star Wars themed project, especially one that was the middle of a trilogy he otherwise had nothing...
  8. Intel Core i9-14900K May Perform Up to 11% Slower on ASUS’ New Intel Baseline Profile

I've reviewed a ton of ASUS boards over the years and I've rarely had problems with them. I've used many of them in my personal machines as well without issue.
  9. Zack Snyder Shares Plans for Rebel Moon: Part Three as Director Receives His Worst Reviews to Date

I haven't seen either of them but as I understand they are bland rip offs of Star Wars.
  10. Target Denies Rumors It Will Stop Selling Physical Media In-Store and Online by 2025

The handful of people buying physical media are going to bitch and complain but the fact is that as a business, Target would only get rid of physical media if carrying it isn't profitable. It's as simple as that. While I am glad you can still buy physical media, I can't recall the last time I...
  11. CPU Tier list

I would need a much bigger chart to even attempt this.
  12. Intel Core i9-14900K May Perform Up to 11% Slower on ASUS’ New Intel Baseline Profile

ASUS has been pulling this kind of thing for many years. It's been one of the worst about cheating on benchmarks but pushing memory, base clocks and other values slightly higher than Intel specs. On more than one occasion, it has carried this too far.
  13. Todd Howard on Potential Starfield and Elder Scrolls Shows: “I’ll Probably Say No”

I had it on Game Pass and cancelled my subscription. I played Starfield a lot for a month or so but got bored. The ship building is the part of the game I spent the most time on. To be fair, I probably will get it on Steam at some point, but that will be after the Creation kit is released and...
  14. Todd Howard on Potential Starfield and Elder Scrolls Shows: “I’ll Probably Say No”

A Starfield TV show true to the game would be like watching paint dry.
  15. GIGABYTE Unveils XTREME Prestige Limited Edition Motherboard and Graphics Card Series

It has to be that way. The CPU only has 16 PCIe Gen 5.0 lanes. Those same lanes are connected to the PCI-Express x16 slot. It only supports a configuration of 1x16 or 2x8 when divided between multiple devices. The other lanes are part of the PCH and irrelevant in this context. They aren't Gen...
  16. Mass Effect 5 Is Being Led by Original Trilogy Veterans

Andromeda was developed by a different team than the one that worked on the Mass Effect Trilogy. That team worked on Anthem.
  17. Mass Effect 5 Is Being Led by Original Trilogy Veterans

That's at least encouraging. I just don't know that it can be done properly with all the typical political ideology being shoved into games. Hell, Andromeda definitely suffered from that and its tame compared to the identity politics and crap being shoved into games now.
