  1. NVIDIA Reminds Us That Twelve More Games with Ray Tracing and DLSS Are Coming This Year

From the company that specializes in marketing what isn't available.
  2. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 3DMark Benchmarks Leaked

That's not bad. Personally, I wouldn't aim for less than a 3080 though unless budget dictates otherwise. Has there been any word on a 3060? I haven't paid attention honestly. And most important question we all ask.... Will it be in stock?
  3. NVIDIA Reportedly Cancels GeForce RTX 3080 (20 GB) and GeForce RTX 3070 (16 GB)

<Clings desperately to 1080Ti> I guess I will wait longer for affordable in stock options. Maybe in 2021 I can score a 1050Ti for less then 3k. This is a tragedy for the instant gratification people.
  4. What is on your PC Gaming plate right now?

Yeah I saw that at lunch, meh.
  5. What is on your PC Gaming plate right now?

Currently, the most play time has been POE. It's been a good, take your mind off of work, at the end of the day thing. Grim Dawn is good for that too. I have a tremendous Steam backlog. Epic is getting fair sized too. Which by the way, it's Thursday. Need to see what's free today
  6. NVIDIA Reportedly Cancels GeForce RTX 3080 (20 GB) and GeForce RTX 3070 (16 GB)

Phffft, not like it'd be in stock anytime soon anyways
  7. AMD Releases Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.10.1 Driver

Yeah, I have changed that too. At best it'll report EDC at 93% for a second or two, otherwise 98-100%. Temps aren't an issue, but it is a 2700x at stock clocks under a stock cooler. Should be ok. It bugs me sometimes, but I haven't really looked into it. Might be something in the bios I can...
  8. AMD Releases Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.10.1 Driver

Well, it didn't do much for the TR box. Thanks for posting this up though. I do wish one of these updates would fix the power plan on the B450 boards I have. Ryzen Master always shows the EDC maxed out all the time. Despite my attempts to correct it. Might be more of an OCD thing, all green...
  9. AMD Endorsing DDR4-4000 Memory for Ryzen 5000 Series Processors

No, it isn't bad, it's just yet another thing to put on the list. Add in new mobo, processor, video card and ram..... (sigh) Although, I'm certain, that when this stuff is actually in stock, and assembled, it'll be a worthy box to have.
  10. AMD Endorsing DDR4-4000 Memory for Ryzen 5000 Series Processors

A quick check on PCpartchecker shows for me about $240 to replace the 3200mhz stuff.
  11. ASUS Reassures X470/B450 Motherboard Users That Ryzen 5000 Series Support Is Coming

I think I'd be happier running the fastest 65w processor in a b450 and leave it at that. As I mentioned, even the 2700x I have in one of the boards I'm a bit leery with. I can't imagine why Asus would think a Zen3 in an older generation was a practical idea.
  12. ASUS Reassures X470/B450 Motherboard Users That Ryzen 5000 Series Support Is Coming

I’d be a bit skittish doing a 5900x on my ASUS rog b450 strix boards. Hell, I’m not convinced it’d do a 3900X, based off what I have seen with a 2700x in them.
  13. AMD Ryzen 9 5950X Annihilates Intel Core i9-10900K In Early Cinebench R20 Single/Multi-Core Tests

I'm interested in the 5900x, but will have to change mobo's. Maybe after the first of the year
  14. “Ryzen” Prices? AMD Fans Worried About $50 Premium for Ryzen 5000 Series, Lack of Stock Coolers

Not worrying about price so much, just actually being available to purchase. As for coming with coolers.... The stock ones suck, period. Most of us have better cooling solutions already on hand.
  15. AMD Releasing “Zen 3” CPUs on Nov. 5: Flagship Ryzen 9 5950X (16C/32T) to Cost $799

Glad to hear the news, now the real question. Will they actually be in stock anytime soon after being released?
  16. Netflix Developing Conan the Barbarian TV Series

Conan series <shudders> Hopefully something comes of this, but not going to get hopes up.
  17. James Cameron: Filming on Avatar 2 “100 Percent Complete,” Avatar 3 Close Behind

No Batty Koda then I definitely won't see it.
  18. James Cameron: Filming on Avatar 2 “100 Percent Complete,” Avatar 3 Close Behind

The space version of Dances with Wolves..... The first was ok, but we will see what's in these new films what Disney wants to charge us to see them at home.
