  3. XFX Radeon RX 5500 XT THICC II Pro 4GB Review

Given that both vendors are releasing brand new GPUs in November, this is a little late to the party.....like the only ones left at the party are the clean-up crew. Nice article, neutral conclusion, nice pictures. I guess you need to review older GPUs because there's no new stock to buy...
  4. GeForce RTX 3080 (20 GB) to Cost $999? NVIDIA Reportedly Flooding GPU Market in November to Wash Away AMD

My hope against hope is that AMD pulls a rabbit out of their collective a@s and actually has a stout card in the 6900 XT and enough product to drown nvidia in their own sh!t. Ha......you can only dream. Actually my Christmas list has one 3080 Ti and one 6900 XT come on Santa.
  5. NVIDIA Reportedly Launching GeForce RTX 3080 (20 GB) and 3070 (16 GB) in December

This aint brain surgery. first, release the vanilla card like you always do, face it, nvidia is a billions of dollars company; they are playing their customers like violins.....start a rumble that turns into an earthquake......then release a different version for more money. Just so happens to...

  7. EVGA’s New Queue-Based Checkout Gives You Five Hours to Grab a GeForce RTX 30 Series GPU

The response time has been posted to be 8 hours, not 5. stated in both the forums and the front page. "To sign up, use the notification button on the product you would like to be notified for. For everyone who already used the notify button previously, you are already entered. Once product is...

  11. GIGABYTE Threatened After Botching AORUS GeForce RTX 3080 MASTER 10G Launch: Sells Out at Newegg within Minutes

I don't think there's much to be "educated" about. It's pretty obvious the supply, for whatever reason, of these items is tight. The demand is high. It may be inflated, but "we" in the US of A are not the only customers. The sad part is the scalpers, but that's just plain old fashioned...
  12. NVIDIA: GeForce RTX 3070 Beats GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Despite Costing Half the Price

All I can say, Im glad I skipped the Turing series. The 2000 series was a proof of concept, shown exactly by this performance jump. Unfortunately the price for waiting is obvious......no product to buy. I hope AMD is watching this.
  13. CD PROJEKT RED Releases Statement Regarding Cyberpunk 2077’s “Mandatory” Crunch Time

  14. EVGA Frostbite 2 Thermal Grease Review

Hey.....no worries. Not trying to be harsh, but it's really a small sample size. Lookie at how many Guru3D does:https://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/guru3d_thermal_paste_roundup_2019,12.html and my NT H1 is pretty middle of the road in that roundup.

  18. Newegg Shipping EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 GPUs without Boxes

This was a bulk shipment item, like a system builder would receive. It has no retail packaging, but I would expect some better protection from shipping damage, other than just a bag. Even bulk OEM shipments are usually in a plain white cardboard box.
  19. EVGA Is Manually Checking All GeForce RTX 3080 Orders to Counter Bots

I have to disagree. The guy who sells me dog food uses CAPTCHA. Secondly, nvidia knew very well there was going to be big pent up demand, since alot of Pascal users held off buying 2080 series cards.....The CEO even mentioned it in his release video. Lastly, all anyone has to do is look at...
  20. EVGA Is Manually Checking All GeForce RTX 3080 Orders to Counter Bots

What I don't get. You knew this would be a big launch, yet you did nothing to guard against automated buying. Simple solution seems: 1) One purchase per customer (yeah, I guess you could still beat that some kinda way) 2) One purchase per customer per 30 minutes then. 3) One purchase per...
