  2. Samsung Reportedly Discontinuing Galaxy Note Series

I want the cell phone from Zoolander
  3. Hitman 3 Will Be Optimized for Multi-Core CPUs and Include Ray Tracing

Funny how in 2020 we are still touting the fact that a game will be multicore aware.
  4. Khronos Group Finalizes Ray Tracing Extensions for Vulkan API

I think of Kevin Sorbo as HERCULES ---- THE LEGEND CONTINUES Then I immediately think of Xena, Lesbian Princess. And I get stuck on that thought for a while.
  5. EVGA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER SC ULTRA Gaming Review

Most of the time I drop things like this in for people who are playing mostly Facebook games, the occasional Steam/EA game... something that needs a bit more than Intel IGP, but are never going to push AAA games at MAX ULTRA.... but wouldn't touch a console in any form or fashion.
  6. Cyberpunk 2077 Could Provide Nearly 180 Hours of Gameplay for Completionists

Only in if the sex scenes are a majority of those hours...
  7. Here’s 20 Minutes of Leaked Cyberpunk 2077 Footage on PS4

I haven't watched the video - is it just the first startup/loading screen? Because that's how long most feel on the PS4. (this is not a shill for PS5/XBSX - the SSD was long overdue)
  8. PS5’s HDMI 2.1 Bandwidth Seems to Be Capped at 32 Gbps, Meaning No 4:4:4 HDR at 4K/120 Hz

Devs ultimately follow the numbers. Sure, you can buy them off for an exlusive or two every now and then, but that's an expensive proposition that isn't sustainable. Player numbers and their willingness to spend, though - that's the metric they will follow.
  9. Apple’s M1 Macs Might Have Native Windows Support in the Future, but It’s Up to Microsoft

Hmm.. need to bother with. Probably not. There aren't exactly a whole lot of ARM PC laptops out there, other than Surface Pro X, and a couple other one-offs. That being said, I really do think mobile (laptop/ultrathin) devices are headed in this direction in a hurry. It's really hard to deny...
  10. Report: Cyberpunk 2077 Won’t Support Ray Tracing for AMD Radeon RX 6000 Series GPUs at Launch After All

Looks like every other mythical unicorn I’ve never seen
  12. Apple’s M1 Macs Might Have Native Windows Support in the Future, but It’s Up to Microsoft

Virtualized Windows (or rather, emulated, technicallly) would run x86 and x64 Windows stuff though. I know ARM windows can run x86, it just had issues with x64. I hope that now that Apple has shown a way to do it that Microsoft can knock it out too.
  13. PlayStation CEO Argues That $69.99 Is a Fair Price for Games, and That the PS5’s 667 GB of Usable Storage Is “Fine”

Well... that's 1 in 5 PS5s in Japan. Not great, but you have a pretty constrained market for the software. Just like US, Japan PS5 are selling as fast as they hit the shelves, so I think that tells you something about how constrained supply is right now. Because of supply issues, it's been...
  14. PlayStation CEO Argues That $69.99 Is a Fair Price for Games, and That the PS5’s 667 GB of Usable Storage Is “Fine”

Yeah I don't take much issue with Day 1 sales price of a game. People will pay what they think it's worth, and they will either not buy or wait for a sale - and the market has been pretty good at responding to that. I'd much rather them come out with a higher Day 1 price than, say, lock tons of...
  15. AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT and Radeon RX 6800 Review

Yes. A lot of surfaces are relective. Most aren't super pristine, not even mud puddles - as they usually have ripples or dirt or something else in them. The effect should be more like Ambient Occlusion. Yes it reflects lights and images, but not with perfect clarity. Even my wood floors have...
  16. Apple to Pay an Additional $113 Million for Throttling Older iPhones

Yeah but it would still grind at me if I had to throw $20 at something I didn't think was wrong.
  17. AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT and Radeon RX 6800 Review

I think it’s just Boost is already using all the headroom - it’s already giving you pretty much all it’s got.
  18. BIOSTAR Announces Radeon RX 6800 Series Graphics Cards

Lower TDP design is ... unusual, unless you are shooting for something like a SFF silent build... which I don't think a triple-slot triple-fan card is.
