Most games these days are backwards compatible, and on PS5 launch you could actually get a bunch free upgrade patches for games.but those were not remakes/remasters.

I don't mind the 10$ upgrade possibility, currently playing trough the PS5 version of part 1 and having a blast.

yeah my 011 XL with a 280 AIo and some be quiet fans runs cool enough, I also have the regular 011 PCMR and that one was a bit of a hotbox due to it's smaller size but works for my more modest AMD machine well enough.

Sounds normal to me that if you refresh your line up you stop making the old models, I read different leaks/guesses as to what the new cards will cost, I doubt prices will go down but that new ones may slot in in the old models price point but not holding my breath
