  1. Disney CEO Blames Covid, Lack of Executive Oversight, and Streaming Overload for The Marvels Bombing at the Box Office: “Quantity Diluted Quality”

It’s been a long time for me. Looks like Wiki agrees with you: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rogue_(Marvel_Comics)
  2. Disney CEO Blames Covid, Lack of Executive Oversight, and Streaming Overload for The Marvels Bombing at the Box Office: “Quantity Diluted Quality”

Captain Marvel exists for Rogue to drain all her powers and kill her whenever they get around to adding X-Men to the cinematic universe. IMO, It's best for Disney if she isn't terrible liked so there is less complaining when she get zapped.
  3. Disney CEO Blames Covid, Lack of Executive Oversight, and Streaming Overload for The Marvels Bombing at the Box Office: “Quantity Diluted Quality”

I challenge the super hero fatigue suggestion. Spider-Man no way home was fantastic and did well at the box office. an X-Men introduction with a Rogue origin story tied with a Captain Marvel movie would be so awesome it would hurt.
  4. Daisy Ridley Comments on Her New Star Wars Film: “I Think People Will Be Very Excited”

This is incredibly accurate, and something I hadn't considered. A 10 episode series translation of the Solo plot would have worked much better than the single movie did. I nominate @Peter_Brosdahl to run Lucasfilm going forward
  5. Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred Expansion Could Cost $100, according to Leaked Blizzard Survey

Price vs value is extremely relative, IMO. I paid 100 something for Stellaris + all the expansions. With 564 hours into it so far, I feel like it was worth the price. An $8 game I play for 30 Minutes and give up was over priced.
  6. Homeworld 3 Reveals PC System Requirements and Features, including NVIDIA DLSS 3, Frame Generation, HDR, and Ray Tracing

Look at that. My old 1080ti is still good enough for "high" settings on games. I've since moved on, but I can't believe the legs the 1080ti has had
  7. TEAMGROUP Announces T-FORCE SIREN GD120S M.2 2280 SSD AIO Liquid Cooler

You can tell a difference between a passive cooled NVME drive vs an active cooled one?
  8. Sabrent and Phison Are Collaborating to Develop PCIe Gen5 SSD with Speeds Up to 14,000 MB/S

I have a 1TB 970 pro and a 2TB 980 pro in the same system if there was a particular comparison that would be useful
  9. Sabrent and Phison Are Collaborating to Develop PCIe Gen5 SSD with Speeds Up to 14,000 MB/S

I considered getting a 990 pro, but the move to TLC flash just flat out hurts. Better to stick with the MLC 970 pros and wait for Samsungs Gen 5 drive
  10. NVIDIA Launches #GiftRTX Sweepstakes: Win a GeForce RTX 4090 FE, GeForce RTX 4080 FE, or MSI Stealth 17 Laptop with GeForce RTX 4080

I made a few social media contests to enter contest myself. I also used my Instagram account for a guaranteed $10 off a purchase. Haven’t ever posted anything
  11. Daisy Ridley Comments on Her New Star Wars Film: “I Think People Will Be Very Excited”

You know what? I’ll take it. They’ve pretty much made it impossible to do Heir to the Empire, but there is plenty they can mine - just like they did with comics and marvel
  12. AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D and Ryzen 5 5500X3D Specs Have Seemingly Leaked

Hmm. I have a complete 2700X system sitting around... The 5500X3D might be the right price to for a drop in upgrade.
  13. CORSAIR MP700 PRO with Air Cooler 2TB PCIe Gen5 M.2 NVMe SSD Review

It’s not like SLC doesn’t exist anymore - it is being mass produced and used as cache paired with slower flash and is used in the enterprise for things like database flash cache. To a certain degree, even if we don’t get the “good” stuff, TLC/QLC can be SLC if the controller just writes a...
  14. CORSAIR MP700 PRO with Air Cooler 2TB PCIe Gen5 M.2 NVMe SSD Review

The earlier numbers really show why I’m so frustrated with current “performance” drives. I really don’t need a 4tb drive for my game drive, and I don’t need a 1tb drive for my OS. Instead of a 4tb TLC Samsung 990 pro, give me a 1.5 TB latency Optimized SLC gen 5 drive for games, and instead of...
  15. NVIDIA Is Reportedly Halting Production of GeForce RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 4080 Graphics Cards in Order to Prioritize Its SUPER Series

I wouldn’t hate the 4080super at 999. Which, of course, means they are going to price it at 1299
  16. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Rumored to Feature GDDR7 Memory, 384-Bit Memory Interface Width

Here we go: 2 generation skip 50X0 series stays AI only 60X0 series is coin mining for crypto boom 3.0 70X0 series is $3000 for the 7080 and it's only 50% faster than the 4090 because all of the better chips are going to AI
  17. CORSAIR MP700 PRO with Air Cooler 2TB PCIe Gen5 M.2 NVMe SSD Review

Hmm, if they are warming up that fast even with the heatsink, might be time to go back to a case with a fan on the door again. Edit I also checked my steam drive. 10 games, 256GB, 142,780 files. That's 1.79MB average per file
  18. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Rumored to Feature GDDR7 Memory, 384-Bit Memory Interface Width

Jokes on us - they are going to skip the consumer 5000 series and only sell AI cards. They won’t bother to make anything better than the 4090 until AMD or Intel can make a competing product
  19. The Marvels Is a “Box Office Bomb,” Opening to Just $47 Million Domestically and Marking a New Low for Marvel Studios

I saw it once. My sister, who would have been 13 at the time, saw it around 25 times, but might have been more. Me liking it or not liking it was basically irrelevant to box office performance compared to her having watched it that many times.
