Really appreciate this article again now that I have a friend looking to upgrade from his RX480 Same card, No Regardless it still gives a good enough baseline to give him a recommendation based on where he wants his system to be.
Thanks Brent! (y)
I dont get why you would want to pay an arm and a leg and not get the most current feature set possible. High end systems do more than just constantly game and we all dont have access to a good wired connection in our homes. I see this as much ado about nothing. Turn the WIFI off after you power...
Gotcha but still it would make two product lines for one product raising costs. And they already employ a software team for bios etc that they cant really drop. I highly doubt the LED on or off option within software is taking up too much time for them.
Thats freaking awesome (sorry for OT) [H], Anand, and The Inquirer were my big 3 back in my early PC days.
Also Intel has the money to recover from this eventually. It might not be a quick turn around but they will do it. It seemed clear to me when they went on a hiring spree for all that...
I never remember people praising that in all my years. Talking about how shocking it is to see that gauge drain and paying a ton at the pump I do remember though.

I could never stomach the price for the 2080ti. No doubt its fast but that price should be for the Titans.
I get it, they can do it so they will but that does not mean I have to sit here and accept or like it.
Also like you I will switch to whichever team provides me frames and Resolutions I...
Its a shame it isn't faster in newer games but at the same time what could be expected when you factor in bandwidth, TDP, and the actual configuration of the GPU itself.
Its still impressive though when you compare it to devices in the same category.
They were my favorite when I began building PCs over 20 years ago. But honestly I have had a lot of good experiences with AsRock now a days. They just seem to offer almost anything you need at way reasonable prices. Except for that one with the special 9900k in it lmao.
Strix is normally very quiet so I would see if you get it swapped out if you bought it from like a standard etailer or something.
I had a strix for my launch 1080 and it had a bad fan right out the gate. I took it back without issue and my noise and heat issues were a thing of the past.
