Cyberpunk 2077 has a fancy new Ray Tracing: Overdrive Mode that makes the game look better than ever, but players should stay clear of it and stick with the game's Ray Tracing: Ultra preset, according to a new blog post from AMD titled "Maximum Ray Tracing Performance with AMD FSR 2 and AMD Radeon RX 7900 Series Graphics" that includes a set of benchmarks demonstrating how its RDNA 3 GPUs handle Cyberpunk 2077 with ray tracing enabled in the 1440p and 4K resolutions when coupled with FidelityFX Super Resolution 2. "Well, we’re not including that preset here because as per CD PROJEKT RED, this new mode is a 'technology preview' and a 'vision of the future that we want to share' rather than a standard graphics preset," AMD explained. The AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX GPU is available starting at $999, while the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT GPU is now available starting at $849.
