AMD Ryzen 7000X3D Burnout Issues Haven’t Affected Sales, Japanese Retailer Says: “Almost No Impact”

The possibility of Ryzen 7000X3D Series processors burning out and killing themselves, as well as their accompanying AM5 motherboards, haven't deterred AMD fans from upgrading to the company's latest Zen 4 chips with 3D V-Cache. This is according to a new report from IT Media's Yusuke Furuta, who went around a bunch of shops in Akihabara, Japan's epicenter of electronics, and was told by at least one worker that sales of AMD's hardware haven't been affected by the controversy. That said, polls from personalities that include TechEpiphany, who describes himself as an "Intel/AMD/NVIDIA shill," suggest that there are a good amount of people out there who think the criticism is justified.
