Apple has announced that the Apple Vision Pro starts at $3,499 (U.S.) and will be available on apple.com and at Apple Store locations in the U.S. early next year. Described as a "spatial computer" by Apple's marketing department, the Apple Vision Pro is a new augmented reality headset that basically functions as a portable 4K display, offering both big-screen productivity and entertainment via a pair of micro-OLED displays that deliver a total of 23 million pixels. Some of the highlights of the device include visionOS, a brand-new three-dimensional interface that users can control with their eyes, hands, and voice, and EyeSight, a feature that will seemingly make it easier to tell whether the user has fallen asleep or not.
