Apple Providing Tools and Docs to Repair iPhones to Third Party Shops

Maybe? Possibly? Slightly?

For a shock to most people Apple is allowing third party repair shops actually “repair” their iPhones. They will be providing them tech documents, tools, and the parts needed to get the job done.

All for Free? The right to repair?

Is there a catch? Yes. Your company has to have an apple licensed repair tech on site.

Anybody else almost have a heart attack with this news? This is very interesting being in the field.

Waiting to see to if there's a lawsuit or settlement we don't know about. Either way it's a win for the consumer. Apple "licensed' repair person still allows a choice for consumers. There's always a catch, but this is a normal one.
