Diablo IV Goes Gold Ahead of June 6, 2023 Release

Diablo IV has gone gold, according to a new tweet from Blizzard that teases the approach of Lilith and the game's impending release, which remains set for June 6, 2023. The news basically means that development on Diablo IV is complete, and while there's still a few weeks to go until players can figure out whether it's any better than Diablo III, which launched in 2012 to much criticism, Blizzard has complemented the announcement with two recently published videos that show off the fourth installment's gameplay, including how players may want to build their characters. Rod Fergusson confirmed last week that there are "no plans" at the moment for an overlay map, meaning that players won't be able to move while looking at the map in Diablo IV.
