Embracer Announces Multiple Acquisitions, including IP Rights to The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit

Wow.. I wonder what they will do with the Lord of the rings IP's.
 
I like Tripwire. It's a little sad to see them enveloped by a larger organization.

Is Embracer group actually funding new game development, or are they just swallowing up a ton of IP?

I wouldn't mind a Red Orchestra 3... The Red Orchestra series are pretty much the only multiplayer game I can tolerate these days, but then, only in Classic or Realism modes.
