EVGA has finished updating its queue system for purchasing hard-to-find products such as graphics cards to 3.0. The queue system has been a huge success among PC enthusiasts seeking to avoid the volatile aftermarket where scalping practices have become the norm. Is EVGA really this stupid? This helps scalpers 100% over the average gamer. A scalper who buys many cards from them will hve a much higher score than the average Joe who wants to update his 3 year old PC to a new graphics card.

So essentially, they've just made it easier for scalpers and miners who buy lots of cards to get their products.

Wow.

Every change they have made to the queue seems to be in the wrong direction, and I had my doubts the queue was even being used as advertised in the first place.

Now you have to go load up on crappy power supplies to boost your spot in the queue.

The only ones being rewarded or those flipping cards or buying in bulk for other reasons. Unless there are different queues for "whales" and "little fish" there will be a disparity.

Sounds like someone at EVGA really, really, took Jensen to heart; "The more you buy, the more you save!"
