Far Cry fans have said that Far Cry 5 is a way better game than Far Cry 6 thanks to its cozier location of rural Montana and enemies that aren't bullet sponges, and now, console gamers who haven't visited Hope County yet to see whether that's true or not have a big reason to finally do so. As part of the game's fifth anniversary, Ubisoft has rolled out a 60 FPS patch for Far Cry 5, allowing those with Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 consoles to enjoy the game at a higher frame rate, bringing the experience a bit closer to the PC version. The patch also enhances the resolution of the game, with Xbox Series X consoles now able to run it at 3840x2160 and 4K resolution. Far Cry 5 will be free to play as part of a free weekend event that is planned for March 23–27.

Wow.

I thought the era of sub 60fps games on consoles was behind us. I had no idea this games of this era were still not at 60fps.
