Formify Is a Custom-Shaped Mouse Made from a Photo of Your Hand

A team of Toronto-based engineers has launched the Kickstarter campaign for Formify, a tailor-made, lightweight, and high-performance gaming mouse that is designed through the use of 3D scans, making it unique to each owner. According to the Kickstarter page, which counts 86 backers and $11,232 pledged at the time of this posting, a customer simply has to send in a picture of their hand, which is then analyzed by the team using machine learning to create a customized and presumably ideal design with 3D printing technology. Palm grip, claw grip, and a hybrid of the two styles are supported, while battery life is listed as being over two weeks on a single charge, coupled with Kailh 8.0 clear switches and ultra-low latency wireless technology.
