Hey @David_Schroth,

I have a quick question for you.

I'm about to start uploading a metric ton of pictures for a build thread.

To save me the trial and error of manipulating resolution and file size limits and repeatedly uploading until the software sops telling me it is too large, are any of you willing to share the max resolution and file size images that can be uploaded?

Notably, they are different than what the Hardforums uses as max settings, which also uses Xenforo, so I presume they are configurable settings sop that each forum can strike a balance on file size, resolution and storage space/bandwidth use for their purposes.

Ideally, I'd like anyone reading my thread to be able to click my 640px (max dimension) previews and see the biggest thing I can upload, but I just don't know what that biggest thing is!

Thank you!

Never mind. It turns out I am not actually having an issue uploading encoded jpeg's of any size (that I have tested yet).

It is when copying and pasting image data into the graphical editor it sometimes rejects images for being too large (and other times does not)

Not quite sure what is going on there.

The limit is actually set in PHP and not Xenforo... And now that you mention it, it reminds me that I've been intending on bumping that up a bit as it's been at the 2 meg default for the past 5 years. I just adjusted it to 20 MB/file so in theory, that should work.

Thank you sir! I had just noticed that all of a sudden everything was working, and I had wondered if you were tinkering while I was testing ?
