Would you consider paying Mozilla for premium features that complement its Firefox browser? The company is reportedly working on a suite of paid-for subscription services that will debut in October.

An interview with CEO Chris Beard revealed Mozilla will be looking at other streams of revenue aside from donations. It partnered with ProtonVPN last year, which could be one of the first of many paid add-ons. This will help Mozilla diversify its revenue but probably take the company away from being a non-profit.

This should be interesting how things go for them. Time will tell.

You'd get nickled and dimed to death just getting things that may be useful. Not a fan of program subscriptions

I'm waiting until kitchen appliance manufacturers start charging monthly fees. Want your fridge light to work? That'll be an extra $5/mo.

Oh, I would punch that light so hard..... and take its lunch money.

Might as well have an OS in subscription status.

There are numerous browsers to choose from, so I would pay exactly zero.
