So I have been reading over at Hardforum about guys submitting their working CPU's to Intel for RMA. I guess I'm looking for a little sensible advice as the guys over there are getting heated. I always come here for some level headed advice when I need it, so what are your thoughts? Both my Intel cpu's are fairly new and haven't had any issues, though they don't get used as heavily as my main AMD system. Wouldn't Intel just reject the RMA if the cpu is working fine?

I guess the worst thing that could happen would be that they pull an Asus and just refuse your RMA and hold your item hostage until you front them return shipping.

Seems kinda silly to me, I mean, are they just trying to get a free pull at the sillicon lotto?
