Leaker Shares 20 GB of Intel’s Confidential Secrets

A 20 gigabyte folder of confidential Intel intellectual property is being passed around on social media. According to Tom’s Hardware, the folder – dubbed “Intel exconfidential Lake Platform Release” – contains a ton of company secrets, which include unpublished roadmaps and schematics. “Most of the things here have NOT been published ANYWHERE before and are classified as confidential, under NDA or Intel Restricted Secret,” the leaker boasted.

Good grief, I see their internal security is about as aware as their hardware designs. When the **** hits the fan for Intel the fan really starts to turn faster sucking even more into it! Bigger they are, the harder they fall comes to mind.
 
Part of me wants to see Intel own this. "here are the highlights of what was removed outside of license and made public." here are the still existing undocumented vulnerabilities. Please see how these align to existing patches or work arounds. Here is our design document. Our competitors might be able to glean something from. This but we will be sueing for recompense.

Sadly that sort of thing won't happen because of how the legal system works if you don't fight tooth and nail to protect any and all intellectual IP.

Of. Course this just could be a race to patent anything and everything in the document by everyone out there. If you are a competitor and see similar use case designs you need to light a fire and get your patents issued asap before Intel realizes the cat is out of the bag and does their own sending you back to the drawing board to make sure yours are at least twenty percent different.
