Lenovo’s Legion 7i and 5i Are the First Laptops with NVIDIA’s New Battery-Saving Feature, “Advanced Optimus”

As part of today’s GeForce RTX SUPER/Max-Q laptop announcement, NVIDIA revealed that Lenovo’s new Legion 7i and 5i would be two of the first notebooks to feature the latest version of its battery-saving technology, Optimus. The new iteration – dubbed “Advanced Optimus” – adds G-SYNC support and ensures long-lasting battery life by automatically switching between the discrete GeForce GPU and iGPU based on workload.
