Getting stabbed in the stomach by a lightsaber isn’t going to keep a good Jedi down. During a recent interview with Collider, actor Liam Neeson admitted that he’d be open to returning as fan-favorite Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn in Disney and Lucasfilm’s upcoming Obi-Wan series, which will trace the steps of the iconic character following the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.

Surprisingly, Neeson seems to be blissfully unaware of what kind of following Qui-Gon has among Star Wars fans. Darth Maul, loses legs, comes back. Palpatine experiences gravity, comes back. That one gal gets gut shot in the Mando series. Gets new guts and travels with the Fett.

What's a bit of heartburn? Surely they have better Tums by now.

I'm hoping there's a episode that focuses on Obi-wan being captured by the Imperials, placed in a holding cell, and waiting for Vader to arrive to settle the score with him. With no other option: Obi-wan sends a Force Text to a Force Ghost with a "particular set of skills" to save him.

This, of course, will be the ghost of Qui-Gon, who, after possessing Jar Jar's physical body, goes on a one man (er, Gungan) killing spree eventually freeing Obi-wan. Qui-Gon's spirit will say something inspirational before leaving Jar Jar's body, then Jar Jar will do something stupid (ie: fall on his ***), Obi-wan will roll his eyes and quip at Jar Jar's antics, *credits roll*.

Force ghost, I guess. Neither Liam or Ewan are exactly spring chickens any more.

Nothing against Liam but just about everyone and their dog seems amicable to getting their own $erie$ on Disney+ now.
