NetherRealm Thanks Mortal Kombat Fans for 30 Years of Support with Vague MK12 Teaser: “We’re Not Quite Done Yet”

NetherRealm Studios has shared a video thanking all of the Mortal Kombat fans out there who have supported the franchise over the past 30 years, and those who make it through all of the talking heads will find a short teaser for the next game in the series, MK12. "We're not quite done yet," MK co-creator Ed Boon says before the teaser plays, which, while offering little insight into what MK12's roster might look like, suggests that the game will be a blast to play, showing off a piece of sand falling from what could be an hourglass and violently exploding. Davis Zaslav, President and CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, stated that MK12 will be released this year during the company's Q4 2022 earnings call.
