Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed the global launch of the PlayStation VR2, its next-gen headset that aims to take VR to the next level with improvements that include a higher-resolution OLED display (2000 x 2040 vs. 960 x 1080), brand-new sensory features, and enhanced tracking, ushering in new high-fidelity experiences that Sony says will enable players to feel a heightened range of sensations unlike any other. The PlayStation VR2 headset and included PlayStation VR2 Sense controller is now available for $549.99 / €599.99 / £529.99 / ¥74,980, while Horizon fans can look into the PlayStation VR2 Horizon Call of the Mountain Bundle, which couples the next-gen VR headset with a copy of Guerrilla Games and Firesprite's new and well-received VR title for $599.99.
