Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy announced that three new live-action Star Wars films are on the way during Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023, and one of them, a feature about Rey building a new Jedi Order years after the events of 2019's Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker, will be the first to be released in theaters, sources with The Hollywood Reporter have suggested.
