Are remakes for Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 on the way? Probably, as Capcom announced today that Resident Evil 4, its latest Resident Evil remake, has managed to sell over 3 million copies in just two days. This is pretty impressive, being that the original Resident Evil 4 took an entire year to reach that level of sales following its release for the Nintendo Gamecube back in 2005. Resident Evil 4 is available now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, where it's been praised by PC gamers for its excellent and stutter-free performance. "The Mercenaries" challenge mode will return as part of a free post-launch DLC that will be released on April 7th, 2023, while Resident Evil 4's VR Mode is currently in development and will also be released as free DLC.
