"The only good Bug is a dead Bug." Offworld Industries has announced that Starship Troopers: Extermination, a new co-op FPS based on the sci-fi franchise sparked by Robert Heinlein's 1959 novel, will be launching this month as an Early Access game on Steam May 17, 2023. With this being an Early Access title, players shouldn't be surprised if they run into bugs that go beyond the insect kind, but Offworld Industries has promised all sorts of improvements as the game crawls closer to its final release, including flying Bugs, boss battles (?), and more, with a massive map on Planet Valaka that supports up to sixteen players for starters. Starship Troopers: Extermination will be available at $24.99 USD upon release, but that price is set to increase as more content is introduced ahead of the 1.0 launch.
