The Mandalorian showrunner Jon Favreau has confirmed that Disney+'s headlining series will return next Fall.
Favreau, who also serves as the Star Wars spin-off's creator and head writer, teased subscribers with a sculpture of a Gammorean as part of the announcement. It isn't clear whether the oversized pigs will be central to season 2's story, but Return of the Jedi fans should be delighted to see the species' return to live action.
