TikTok Users Can Now Express Their Creativity with Text Posts

TikTok will now not only feature people doing dumb things, but people writing dumb things, too, as TikTok has announced that text posts are now possible through the Chinese-owned video-sharing platform. Described as a new format for content creation, TikTokers can now share written content, including stories, poems, recipes, and more, as suggested in a screenshot that owner ByteDance released to show off the new feature. TikTok reportedly hit 150 million U.S. monthly users earlier this year.
