Intel is reportedly planning a CPU price increase; I would not be surprised if AMD follows.

It's funny watching the reaction to this:
Before Launch Everyone: I sure wish AMD would release a dual X3D part, 9950X3D should have had cache on both CCDs, Come On We want Cache on BOTH cores. Disappointed it isn't on BOTH cores, Do it AMD, Do It. etc....
Post Announcement Everyone: Meh...
Introduction There is no better time than now to evaluate gaming performance between 16GB of VRAM versus 8GB of VRAM, specifically on the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti. In light of the current memory pricing and availability issue plaguing 2026, VRAM capacity and pricing are also affected. NVIDIA has two...
DLSS 5 kinda reminds me of Clippy: "It looks like you are typing a letter. Would you like me to help you?"
The AI algorithm is looking and interpreting what the image is trying to do with the materials, and then basically saying, let me re-interpret that and do that for you.
The problem is...
I have time-stamped this, click the video. You will notice Grace, the intent is to fullfill an emotion of the character on the screen, by the developer, for the scene in question, considering the storyline. The AI-generated version changes the intent of the character that the developer, well...
More information has been revealed about how it works:
It is indeed just taking a 2D frame plus motion vectors and applying Generative AI to it. It does this through the Frame Generation algorithm, hence the need to have Frame Gen enabled. It's utilizing the "fake frames" generation...
At the end of the day, my opinion is that one should not be so focused on the journey of how the graphics were achieved; rather, focus on the output/final result of those graphics, and if it's a good game.
We can always judge the output and tell if it has errors or looks bad. But the journey...
I didn't want to post this twice, so here are my thoughts:

I see a few camps on this:
A) You've got the camp that vehemently despises anything AI-related, and thus hate it just because it is inherently AI.
B) You've got the camp that are OK with AI-rendered things, but hate it because it just looks bad, or is inconsistent.
C) You've got the camp that...
I don't see a 285K refresh happening. 270K & 250K > binned 265K & 245K with adjustments. 285K was pretty much maxed out already. Nova Lake launching most likely 2027 at this point (rumors suggest) was intended end of year, that's the true generational release. ALR is just a refresh, not a...
Introduction Intel is announcing its official “Arrow Lake” refresh with the new Core Ultra 200S Plus Desktop CPU series. As the name suggests, these new models are based on the current generation Arrow Lake architecture, based on the LGA1851 CPU socket and motherboards. These are desktop CPUs...
