Introduction How do AMD’s Ryzen 7 8-Core “X3D” (3D V-Cache) CPUs scale in 2026 with new, updated, and refreshed gaming benchmarks? We aim to find out. We have compared all four Zen 4 and Zen 5 AMD “X3D” Ryzen 7 8-Core CPUs, side-by-side, in this performance roundup. We have re-tested...

It's kind of a weird situation right now, for sure. CPUs are the more interesting thing. With Nova Lake and Zen 6 coming up, that will get the most attention right now for DIY builders.

Introduction Is “Zen 5%” still a thing in 2026? We are going to run through all Zen 4 and Zen 5 AM5 8-Core NON-X3D CPUs to find out, with all fresh new data tested as of September 2026. Our goal is to see how the standard 8-Core CPUs from Zen 4 and Zen 5 compare […] See full article...

I've made sure to uninstall anything Copilot related, at the very least. Luckily, apps and things can be uninstalled in this way, that's the least you can do to remove them. I take other measures, beyond that, restricting things best I can manually. O&O Shutup is a great free utility for...

OK HECK YA!

^ 192GB RAM :o

I upgraded *crosses fingers*

A higher res texture base would certainly cost less in performance than DLSS 5 costs. Game graphics quality options already exist. I think you could have 8K/4K textures at the "Ultra" setting, and then 2K textures at "High" and then lower res textures as you step down in quality setting. I...

Introduction The AMD Ryzen 7 7700X3D CPU was announced at Computex 2026 in June and then released to retail as of mid-July 2026. The Ryzen 7 7700X3D is not a limited-time retail CPU or restricted to certain retail outlets. In fact, the Ryzen 7 7700X3D is a full production CPU from AMD, based on...

I mean it sounds cool, but trying to get developers to adopt new things like this is the friction there. They still haven't properly implemented Shader Execution Reordering (SER) in games yet, it's not used much, if at all, and it's been launched since the RTX 40 series! Ugh.

I'd really like to do a look back at AM4, from Ryzen 1 to Ryzen 3, and see how it holds up with current GPUs and games. I think it would be highly interesting to take a look at that. Let's hope AM5 can do the same. RUMOR (yeah i know), says Zen 7 will be on AM5 as well. If true, that would...

"You're holding it wrong!" hehe

This monitor is for me. This is what I want. Will it come to the US? And what timeframe, good question, and how much? I have been wanting a good Mini-LED display, I do not want OLED, since my PC is always on a static work display, though I do play games here also, but primariliy it's a...

Now that they've been out a while, time seems to be a factor in how long they will last before failure as well. /shrug I think the proof is in the pudding on this connector.

another one just happened https://en.gamegpu.com/news/zhelezo/razem-pitaniya-videokarty-kriticheski-peregrelsya-i-edva-ne-unichtozhil-gpu and i've seen a couple x posts from china users as well with them happening this month and another one also
