Imagine how much time you'd spend with your face nearly pressed against surfaces when climbing in AC games. Good luck countering attacks when fighting mobs. Knowing which is the best direction to dodge roll, etc.
Inspired me to play the OG again. Maybe I'll finish it this time. Looks and plays great maxed out. Don't feel any need to get milked by double dipping.
I see Ubislop managed to ruin a classic via greed. Not calling OG BF the best game in the series, IMO Odyssey is better. It is already back to mostly positive which is a little suspicious. Orgainc stans brigade to the rescue? or shenanigans with account and review farming...
It's been more than half a lifetime ago. I think Pentium 60? iGPU on the board for video? Packard Bell POS. Windows 3.11 for workgroups? I was not rolling my own yet.
At least once a week a see a story that confirms I bailed on Microslop at the right time. I was an Amiga user forced to IBM compatible to play games. That wound will never heal. 💀 The GN vid with Wendell about peak microslop last week was another zinger.
I have only seen game play. The enemy AI seemed so broken I never gave it another thought.
Going to be interesting to see how many will buy this new BF version.
It will be 16 for minimum, may be recommended, by release. They doom the game before it even gets going by alienating so many potential players. The 64GB did its job i.e. make us aware this game even exists. ;) Seriously, this is a marketing strategy now; release shocking hardware requirements...
Has to be old placeholders from before DRAM and NAND insanity. It's UE5 and none of the graphics in their videos are as good as Black Myth Wukong. By launch 16GB will be fine. They have not given a date for early access or anything, so plenty of time to optimize?
I think I'll grab it for that price.
As I have mentioned before; This one surprised me. Free from Epic. Never played MTG or anything like that. Found having cards and learning to play them the best way, combined with being able to use the environment, is a good time. Looks and plays great. A...
Shot straight to the top spot and somewhat radically shook up the top 8 positions. I can't remember the 9800X3D falling below 2. 4 5000 CPUs in the top 6 spots, over half way through 2026 is beyond remarkable.
Made me laugh. But honestly I do not think you did. 4090 and 5090 hold value or increase over time. Next gen is delayed. It was a good investment.
All of the ones you noted. Any game with path tracing and some others with lumen and such at 4K are a good candidate. Not all may be RPG. Black Myth...
Not going to happen. Here is the manifesto. Avoid oversupplying the market. Expand production only when profitable demand exists. Don't repeat previous boom-and-bust cycles. Use long-term contracts instead of speculative production.
Just in time manufacturing and post human malware demand...
