  1. RNG Humor

Singalong time ... "oh it's bad luck to be you ..."
  2. RNG Humor

Sometimes when RNG just provides an eyebrow raising outcome ... I've been playing The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall again recently. I did a long and involved quest for the Fighter's Guild wherein I was supposed to bodyguard a named NPC, but assassins got to him first. The quest turned into a...

I wonder if it includes audio/voice actor make over as well.

The question I have is whether this is just a graphical image update or if they've reworked any of the underlying mechanics. If the updates are just graphical, there's plenty of mods for that. If they change mechanics, most non-graphic update mods will no longer work. At best, this is a waste...
  5. Nvidia driver crashing with newest drivers and monitor DP port when More than 1 monitor used.

OMG ... this explains a lot. I've been getting random crashes recently and have been pulling my hair out trying to figure out why. I have three monitors connected to the three DP output ports on my EVGA 3090Ti. I was only running one monitor when I last updated drivers, but have since added...

  8. MicroProse Announces Knights of Frontier Valley Which It Describes as “A Challenging, Old-School-Inspired Roguelike RPG”

I can't tell you what it is, but I can tell you what it is not (from my humble perspective). If it's not ASCII, it's not a Roguelike.
  9. MicroProse Announces Knights of Frontier Valley Which It Describes as “A Challenging, Old-School-Inspired Roguelike RPG”

... to the internet! Meaning of Roguelike ... I don't recall ever having played Rogue itself, but way back in the early days, I extensively played Nethack, which is one of the archetypal variants. I even dabbled and wrote a few scripts for it. These days, people would call that modding. :)
  10. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remake Will Be Revealed Soon and Launch as Early as April, It’s Claimed

The devil is in the details. They're messing with some of my favorite systems. This could be good or it might suck. I just know that trying to cram 20 years worth of mods to modernize the original (plus all DLS, of course) is no longer worth the effort ... at least for me. I've put in my 1000...
