GoG is an often overlooked option. I guarantee they'll have the latest Witcher title whenever that releases.

There's plenty of game time after you retire. Ask me how I know. There isn't a lot of disposable income for building the latest and greatest PC ever made ... which is compounded by current economics.

They need to clear out that warehouse of unsold inventory, hence "limited edition".

They need us to buy their consoles. We need them to make consoles. Which one is more compelling?

Would be better to discuss in terms of standard deviation, but most people don't know how to calculate that ... or know what it means.

Agreed. Shovelware and Crapware have not yet gone the way of the dodo - whether human or AI generated

I can't think of a better reason to dig deeper into my backlog of older unplayed (and under played) games. Maybe by the time I've cleared the list, this whole memory shortage thing and need for a state-of-the-art system will have passed over. The tech paradigm will have changed significantly...

How many times does the average consumer plug/unplug their cables from their power supply? My guess is a very low number for a niche-specific group. Seems like a solution looking for a problem.
