God of War Laufey Revealed, and PC Players Are Almost Certainly Locked Out

@DAPUNISHER Seems like an odd time to lock up God of War as a Playstation exclusive when there's so much potential controversy surrounding the series. Maybe Mom of War will wind up being really good, or maybe it won't . . . At least DQ12 won't be an exclusive. That would be obnoxious (and...

NVIDIA Drops GeForce NOW Subscription Prices with Discounts of up to 35% on Annual Plans

That's odd. You'd think they would be deprioritizing stuff like GeForce Now in favor of their in-house AI products.

Bethesda Launches New Starfield “Free Lanes” Update, Which Includes New Features, Improvements, and DLC

Is Starfield worth playing at this point? I mostly try to get my single-player games off GoG and I don't think it's even available there yet. Skyrim sure is though.

Early Canadian Listings for AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Suggest It Could Fetch $1000 in the U.S.

That price is still kinda meh. But hey if people really want it, it's there! Enjoy your 3-5% increase in performance (or whatever)! From a strictly-academic point-of-view it is an interesting CPU. Otherwise, meh whatever.

AMD Could Be Prepping a Flagship Next-Gen GPU Featuring 96 Compute Units with Memory on a 512-Bit Bus

Sodium Ion will be a solution soon. Looks like, for now, some datacentres are going with ferrous oxide batteries (really!) There's a lot of money on fusion coming online by the early 2030s. We'll see how THAT goes.

Ongoing AMD Zen6 Rumors Continue to Suggest a 12-Core Single-CCD “Olympic Ridge” Processor Is Inbound for the AM5 Platform

It probably won't be in significant numbers. But there will be juuuust enough review parts for benchmarking.

AMD Could Be Prepping a Flagship Next-Gen GPU Featuring 96 Compute Units with Memory on a 512-Bit Bus

Never heard that before, but functionally that never happened since Larrabee never made it to market as a dGPU.

The return of mGPU, app lets you use a 2nd GPU for framegen

Can you use iGPUs for this purpose?

AMD Could Be Prepping a Flagship Next-Gen GPU Featuring 96 Compute Units with Memory on a 512-Bit Bus

It was a feature-differentiator for NV on their 2000-series cards. Plus rendering nerds have been wanting RT for ages (for whatever reason). Developers like it because no more lightmaps (see: games with RT-only rendering, such as Doom Dark Ages).

Ongoing AMD Zen6 Rumors Continue to Suggest a 12-Core Single-CCD “Olympic Ridge” Processor Is Inbound for the AM5 Platform

That's what the leakers/whateveryouwannacallem over on AT have been saying for months. The 12c CCD will be on an N2-class node, but there will be mobile CCDs on N3P that have Zen6c cores as well. I don't have all the configurations memorized. Some SKUs will mix N2 and N3P CCDs, including...

A Troubling Trend Is Growing as PC Hardware Manufacturers Cancel Orders Only to Repost the Same Product at a Higher Price

Is that even legal? They can claim it's a mistake, but then reposting the product at a markup makes it look awfully shady. Once you agree upon a price that should be it.
