It was a feature-differentiator for NV on their 2000-series cards. Plus rendering nerds have been wanting RT for ages (for whatever reason). Developers like it because no more lightmaps (see: games with RT-only rendering, such as Doom Dark Ages).

Is that even legal? They can claim it's a mistake, but then reposting the product at a markup makes it look awfully shady. Once you agree upon a price that should be it.
