The United States Department of Justice, joined by 16 other state and district attorneys general, have filed a civil antitrust lawsuit against Apple that alleges the iPhone and MacBook maker has been monopolizing, or is attempting to monopolize, the smartphone markets, violating Section 2 of the Sherman Act.

I hope they get them hard, and wind up setting some serious precedents in the process that holds Google, Facebook, Amazon and Microsoft accountable as well.
 
And this suite is going to trial when exactly? I'm expecting a big ole bucket of Never.

Now if it was the EU... hell get them to sign on and have the hearings in their courts. I bet apple would hate it then. As it is Apple has the cash reserves to have their in pocket politicians kill this or put it behind such a barrier to get to court that a 10 year old will be considering retirement before it sees any action.
