Microsoft will be releasing a new version of the Xbox Series X that not only comes in white, but lacks a disc drive on the front, making it an all-digital console just like its Series S sibling, which is described as the "best value in gaming" and starts at $299.99, according to new photos that surfaced on the web today.

The only thing my Xbox gets used for is a BluRay player, and even that is like.. twice a year?

I did fire it up the other day to peruse current XBGP titles, and it was a successful waste of 20 minutes. I turned it back off and will dust it back off again in about 6 months.

The kid will use it occasionally if he has someone sleeping over, they play Apex or something or another.
