  1. AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D Gaming Performance CPU Review

Minimum FPS always determines playability. In games that benefit from the added cache, the 5800X3D showed much of its benefit in min FPS. We can't draw a conclusion on Zen4 X3D without mins. I wonder how much MS paid AMD to gimp their CPU by making it rely on XBox Game Bar. Inexcusable.
  2. System Shock Remake Release WIndow Announced by Nightdive Studios for March 2023

I'll believe it when I see it. Coming up on 7 years since the Kickstarter. Have they been using Chris Roberts as a consultant?

  4. BenQ EX480UZ 48-Inch MOBIUZ OLED Gaming Monitor Launched for $1799.99

It's great that OLED is beginning to move into the monitor market, but $900 is a bit much for a DP input.

Gives them more to offer in a settlement. "Not only will we keep COD on PS as we already said, we'll throw in these Bethesda games!"
  6. AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX and XT Smart Access Memory Performance

It would also be interesting to see the effect of ReBAR on an Intel system vs. SAM on an AMD mobo. Hell, then you could compare the setting with AMD and Nvidia GPUs on each platform. Cause you have unlimited time to run benchmarks, of course;).
  7. Sapphire Radeon RX 7900 XTX and 7900 XT Reference Design Cards Get Listed on Amazon

I doubt Amazon will have these at MSRP. They scalped the 6800, 6800XT, and 6900XT at launch.
  8. Control 2 Announced for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S by Remedy Entertainment

I just turned on 1 hit kills and immorality in Control because the combat is getting boring, annoying, and grindy. Still playing for the story. I'll probably be interested in a sequel when it's on sale.
  9. DirectStorage 1.1 Is Out Now and Can Reduce Load Times by Up to Forty Percent in Supported Games

MS has been hyping this since before Win 11 (so, well over a year) and the are still no games that use it. LMK when somebody fixes the load times in Civ 6.

Who do you think ends up with all that data?
  11. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 3DMark TimeSpy Scores Leak Out, Around 35% Slower Performance Than GeForce RTX 4090

The 3090 certainly hasn't lost any performance, but it's better to wait (even for a few months) than pay new gen prices for last gen hardware. On PC Part Picker the cheapest 3090 is $1200 and the cheapest 3090 Ti is almost $1500. They aren't worth it. That is not the way to clear out...
  12. GIGABYTE Launches GeForce RTX 4080 Graphics Cards, including AORUS XTREME WATERFORCE Models

Are they as stupidly oversized as the 4090? Picture indicates yes.
  13. ASUS Unveils TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XTX and Radeon RX 7900 XT Graphics Cards

Looks like they recycled their 4090 cooler so these cards won't fit in a whole lot of cases. Stupid.

We need more NVMe drives over 2TB so prices come down.
