  1. Capcom Sued for Allegedly Using Copyrighted Photos for Resident Evil and Devil May Cry Games

The plagiarism is too obvious for Capcom to want to contend in court. I'd say the stupid and lazy employee who did this no longer works for the company.
  2. The Last of Us Part II Gets 60 FPS Performance Patch for PlayStation 5

Ooooo... 60HZ. It's pre-2013 all over again. Given that the latest gen consoles rival high-end gaming PCs, I would have thought there'd be support for variable refresh rate from day 1. They should be able to do smooth gameplay at a much higher fps than a pou^H^Haltry 60Hz.
  3. NVIDIA Announces GeForce RTX 3080, 3070, and 3060 Ti “Lite Hash Rate” Series with Ethereum Mining Limiter

Then it is just pointless for nvidia to even try, unless any attempt is purely symbolic.
  4. NVIDIA Announces GeForce RTX 3080, 3070, and 3060 Ti “Lite Hash Rate” Series with Ethereum Mining Limiter

I'm am wondering, does gimping the onboard device that Ethereum miners use to calculate hash values decrease performance of the card in other areas? If not, why did it exist in the first place, or was it purpose built for mining cryptocurrency?
  5. Battlefield VI Fans Are Worried That the Game Won’t Feature a Campaign

I have never heard of any fan of the Battlefield franchise to be worried about there being no single-player campaign. It is conceivable I suppose... getting used to the weapons without being annihilated over and over again by a bunch of sweats already familiar with the maps and meta-weapons...
  6. HTC Announces Vive Pro 2 VR Headset with 5K Resolution Display, 120 Hz Refresh Rate

Yes, I guess so. After five years I am hoping there has been a stark improvement in lens quality for high-end headsets. The Vive Pro 2 uses dual element fresnel lenses which I have just been informed allows for a greater FOV. https://twitter.com/shen/status/1392168114448527362 The Valve...
  7. HTC Announces Vive Pro 2 VR Headset with 5K Resolution Display, 120 Hz Refresh Rate

I like the Vive Pro 2 specs myself. 2448 x 2448 per eye at 120Hz. 120 FOV. My Vive has 1080x1200 per eye at 90Hz with 110 FOV. I wonder if HTC is still using Fresnel lenses, because the halo effect is NOT GOOD AT ALL.
  8. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Will Reportedly Be Announced on May 18

The 3090 shows a minimal performance advantage over a 3080 at 1080 and 1440 resolutions. So a 3080Ti is going to fit snuggly in the middle for an extra $500 or so dollars?
  9. MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Shipping Labels Confirm 12 GB of GDDR6X RAM

There's barely any performance difference between the 3080 and the 3090 at resolutions the vast majority of people use, namely 1080 and 1440, so maybe the people who'd pay extra for this must want it purely as a cheaper alternative to the 3090 for 4k gaming...?
