    For me, as someone who has been in and has an MOS that would align with this kind of thing.......that is how it would have ended 99% of times. I hated that we lost great characters but appreciated that the depiction on how it would end is correct. Those are largely suicide missions.

    But, like I said before, there is not a spec. And without some sort of definition we have no idea where it is and where a catastrophic load will happen. So, until it is defined somewhere we can't do a legitimate test for it.

    No, it doesn't that is what I have been trying to tell you. It is a feature, but it does not have a standard. Thus, it is not testable to a standard. SO, I can make up whatever I want and say it passes or fails but that is not a valid test.

    I gotcha. But, destructive testing of a power supply results in unexpected events. Each time I have to get the load tester repaired and recalibrated and certified it starts a $2k. So, not something I like to do.
