  1. Anandtech Sails Off Into the Sunset

Afaik, Gamers nexus should still have a site with written reviews on it.
  2. Razer Wolverine V3 Pro Announced as the Ultimate Wireless Esports Controller for Xbox and PC

If everyone has the same advantage it should still be the better player who wins (one of the reasons I don't like motorsports, the machine matters more then the driver so they don't compete on equal terms)
  3. Half-Life 2 RTX Gets One-Hour Gameplay Video from Gamescom 2024 and Nova Prospekt Trailer from NVIDIA

I'm guessing that their age is what makes it an option to do so, the games run on a potato so you have all the extra power for the RT stuff. Now I did only watch a small porttion of the video, but they did add new higher res textures to the game and remade the weapon models, not sure about...
  4. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 PC System Requirements Reveal a 78 GB Install Size If Players Already Have COD HQ and Warzone

Would be strange given that it's launch week for the war within, not that that sells anywhere near COD games, but still.
  5. Corsair Launches M55 and M55 WIRELESS Mice for Multi-Genre Gaming

Strange, I always had the mousewheel die on me after a couple months
  6. AMD Will Boost Performance of Zen 5, Zen 4, and Zen 3 CPUs with New Windows Update, Delivering up to 13% Faster Gaming Performance on Ryzen 9 9950X

My current plan is to upgrade my platform this fall, if X3D only launches in 2025 I might stay with intel if the benchmarks are good

  9. AMD Ryzen 9000 Series Delivers Better Performance on Windows Administrator Accounts, Reviewers Say

It's mostly due to the lwered TDP numbers, AMD is supposedly working on an update where they increase the base TDP from 65W to 105W which should improve their numbers somewhat, I seen benchmarks where they unlock PBO and they boost to 135W which get's good results, but is obviously bad for...
  10. Borderlands 4 Teased by Randy Pitchford as Live-Action Movie Flops at Box Office with $8.8 Million Opening

Imho the resident evil movies are not bad, but more popcorn zombieflick then anything else, so if you are not into that better skip them, but for mindless entertainement where the story is more of an aftertought they are fine.
  11. AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Leads CPU Sales at Mindfactory as Ryzen 5 9600X “Zen 5” Processor Sells 10 Units at German Retailer

They did not release new motherboards yet which is also a consideration.
  12. Borderlands 4 Teased by Randy Pitchford as Live-Action Movie Flops at Box Office with $8.8 Million Opening

The predators movie was kind of like an Unreal movie just a different IP.
  13. Borderlands 4 Teased by Randy Pitchford as Live-Action Movie Flops at Box Office with $8.8 Million Opening

I politely disagree, you could easily make half a dozen fims out of it, but obviously you would need to do a better job then these guys did. I did play around 777 hours of BL2 and around 1100 hours in BL3 so I may be a bit biased. Also not saying oscar worthy ones, but some more then decent...
  14. AMD Ryzen 7 9700X CPU Review: 8-Core Zen 5 at $359

I agree and also disagree. The long term support is nice and on one side I'm all for it, but this makes it hard for them to keep supporting it, leads to some annoying sideeeffects making it also a pita, they had to lend CPU's to people to flash their bios so the CPU they bought would actually...
  15. Intel Says Its Future CPUs Will Not Be Affected by 13th and 14th Gen Core Instability Issues
