  1. Nvidia rumor mill, whats up?

There is a difference between a GPU w/ AIO and a GPU w/ a water block. Sure, AIO has a water block but it's a closed loop system. GPUs with factory water blocks are intended for custom water loops. Which is what I am referring to.
  2. Microsoft Appears to Backtrack on Deprecating 39-Year-Old Windows Control Panel for New Settings App

Don't relax too much. All this means is they'll do it at some other time and try to fly under the radar more about it so as to not stir an uproar. Which I presume they've noticed and decided to act like a crawfish.
  3. Soap Box Day. Steam update game process.

I think this has more to do with the fact that it's just not a good idea to install or update multiple applications at the same time. Some of those apps might use the same dependencies and updating them both at the same time might break one or the other in the process or something. I mean...
  4. Microsoft Says the End Is Nigh for Control Panel, Nearly 40 Years After Its Introduction

Just another reason why my next gaming build will be Linux.
  5. Until Dawn PC and PS5 Pricing Leaks Online, and Gamers Aren’t Happy

1999. When I had a computer, computer games, the internet and no responsibilities.

The 90 year old with a boob job.
  7. AMD Ryzen 9 9950X CPU Review: 16-Core Zen 5 at $649

I don't think she'd take no for an answer. I should probably go to the gym more often.
  8. Steam Survey Shows Windows 10 Continues to Be the Preferred OS of Gamers as Windows 11 Loses Ground

Mine are 3x 165Hz, 4K monitors. Would be a real bummer if they maxed out at 60Hz when using them on Linux.
  9. Steam Survey Shows Windows 10 Continues to Be the Preferred OS of Gamers as Windows 11 Loses Ground

The multiple monitor issue you are experiencing is troubling to me since I run triple displays with high refresh rates myself. I intend to run two, complete systems though. I will keep my current system on Windows 10, but my new build will be Linux and it's what I'll start using when that time...
  10. Steam Survey Shows Windows 10 Continues to Be the Preferred OS of Gamers as Windows 11 Loses Ground

I've been seriously considering Linux on my next rig also.
  11. Borderlands 4 Teased by Randy Pitchford as Live-Action Movie Flops at Box Office with $8.8 Million Opening

Unreal, Unreal II: The Awakening are both story games. lol Just most people only played the multiplayer game that didn't really have much of a story other than the history of how it came to be. Additionally, two girls was pretty popular back in the day. I'm sure two towers can get creative as...
  12. Steam Survey Shows Windows 10 Continues to Be the Preferred OS of Gamers as Windows 11 Loses Ground

  13. Borderlands 4 Teased by Randy Pitchford as Live-Action Movie Flops at Box Office with $8.8 Million Opening

I wish they'd make one on the Unreal universe. ...but I'm an Unreal fanboy. So I might be a little biased.
  14. Replacing polarized film on LCD TV

Um, just buy it off Amazon (or any other place that will deliver to your house) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002MPPYYS/?tag=thefpsreview-20 I'd pick up some plastic razors as well. It'll help scrap it off. Just be careful, even with plastic. Don't want to scratch the display.
  15. SpaceX Awarded the Contract to Help Crash the International Space Station into the Sea

That's not the problem. It's mostly political as in it's not just NASA that "owns" it, but many countries do. The costs of repairing/fixing the station to last longer than the already longer lifespan it's lived would make way more sense in building something new. Preferably owned by the USA...
  16. XFX Mercury AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX Magnetic Air Video Card Review

I'm sure I just got unlucky with the ones I owned. I think I had around 5 or 6 of them over the last decade and all of them had fan failures. Gigabyte was about 50/50 in the half a dozen or so I owned around the same time. Mostly AMD cards for MSI, but Gigabyte was Nvidia cards. Most of the...
  17. Minecraft Preview Build Rolls Out for PlayStation 5 Owners

I still play Minecraft. Well actually, I didn't start playing until about a year ago and I've been hooked ever since. Haha. Minecraft (Java Edition on the PC at least) can look really, really good with the right mod packs.
  18. XFX Mercury AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX Magnetic Air Video Card Review

The last time I owned MSI or Gigabyte GPUs. It's why I don't buy models from them anymore.
  19. Logitech Unveils Its Most Portable Keyboard Ever

Ha, my setup used an IR remote control. I believe I ended that HTPC setup with XBMC, but before that I think I was using some kind of Windows software to show the shows and what not. Eventually ended up getting a cablecard for the setup as well so I was able to watch and record shows from cable...
