  1. Blizzard Is Nerfing One of Diablo IV’s Most Enjoyable Builds Because It’s Ruining the Experience for Other Players

The last 2 Blizzards games I played where the first of the three Starcraft 2 games, and Diablo 3. I did not bother to finish SC2 Part 1, and the one I really wanted all along was Part 3, with the Protoss. But by the time that one came out, I had stopped caring altogether. I lost my Blizzard...
  2. Amazon Launches Entirely New Kindle Lineup, including Reimagined Kindle Scribe and First-Ever Color Kindle

Oh huh, that's interesting. Never had the pleasure. I do all my reading either the old fashioned way on paper (which is getting harder and harder on my eyes as the decades accrue), or on a desktop computer monitor (sometimes laptop display). I've never really experienced eInk. Maybe briefly many...
  3. NVIDIA Wants to Know What Legacy Features It Should Retain from Older Control Panel

Yes, I would very much like that too. Hahahaha yeah.
  4. AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D and Ryzen 5 5600X3D Discontinued as Pricing for 7800X3D Continues to Trend Upward

Yeah, I believe it comes within 5-10% of the 5800X3D. And it's recently been seen as low as $180. Definitely a fantastic upgrade for any existing AM4 system that is not yet on Zen 3.
  5. NVIDIA Wants to Know What Legacy Features It Should Retain from Older Control Panel

How about they just leave the f*cking Control Panel alone, and keep it around?
  6. PC Gamers Make Less Money than Console Players When They Grow Up, Survey Reveals

What if you grew up playing both consoles and PC games? And if you played multiple IPs? Wait, so people who played FIFA are the highest earners among video game players? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Yyyeeeaaahhh, ALL of this sounds like bullsh1t. Hilarious read though! Yyeeaahh, I have a looot of...
  7. Analogue’s 4K N64 Will Be Available for Pre-Order on October 21

I'm hoping the FPGA work was done by Kevtriss, same as for Nt, Super Nt, and Mega Sg. Cuz that man knows what the f*ck he is doing. I don't know if he did Analogue's FPGA TG16/PC-Engine either. I'm an old customer of Analogue's, long before they got into FPGA consoles. Back when they were...
  8. Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered Launches for PC and Consoles in February with Enhanced Visuals, Modern Controls, and More

Not to mention these are the TR games no one really cares about anyways.
  9. GeForce 256: NVIDIA Marks 25th Anniversary of “World’s First GPU” with Celebratory Video, Green Popcorn, and More

I did same thing, skipped GF256 and jumped in with the GeForce 2 Pro. Here is my actual card. Indeed.
  10. GOG Wants Gamers to Know Its Offline Installers Can’t Be Taken Away from You While Steam Reminds Them That Players Only Get a License to Play

You can also run the same game on both machines at the same time if you put Steam in offline mode on one of the machines. That's how my bro and I were able to play Halo MCC LAN co-op using just my one copy of the game.
  11. Konami and FIFA Sign Collaboration Agreement to Continue Their Worldwide Commitment to the Advancement of eSports

I've been asking the same question every year since the CPL first came around. I used to laugh at this sh1t, and thought that it would disappear within a few years. Around 2 decades later, boy was I wrong. I still do NOT get how eSports is even a thing.
  12. Red Dead Redemption PC Pricing Revealed as Players Note Vastly Improved Draw Distance vs. Console Versions

I would hope that this PC version is better than the remaster on Switch and PS4, because playing the X360 version via emulation and community patches/mods on PC is a superior experience to that remaster. I hope this new PC version version is better than that too.
  13. Halo Studios Reportedly Lacks a Campaign Team, Fueling Outsourcing Rumors

The campaigns went to sh1t after Bungie left. Halo 4 was aiight, but 5 was a waste of time, and 6 was meh. At one point Halo was a big IP for Microsoft, and a system-seller, but these days there's not much weight behind the name. Microsoft doesn't seem to really care anymore.
  14. Red Dead Redemption PC Requirements Unveiled Ahead of October 29 Release on Rockstar Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store

As I said in the other thread, we'll see if I go this route for re-playing the game, instead of emulating the X360 version, which up until this point has been the best option for playing the game (and yeah, that's taking into account the remaster on PS4 and Switch).
