  1. NVIDIA’s Latest Q&A Provides Insight on GeForce RTX 3080 Launch Disaster

Yeah I know what you mean. I said this in another thread but everybody blaming Nvidia for not predicting something that not only has never happened before but also something that Amazon, Newegg, and Best Buy didn't predict either. A bunch of Nike bots wiping out the entire, worldwide stock in...
  2. ZOTAC Receives 20,000 GeForce RTX 3080 Preorders That Could Take a Month to Fulfill

Jesus! I can't get over the demand for these cards. On a "glass half full" note, this is a good thing. With Nvidia selling these cards like hot cakes, literally before they're even shipped out, that means there's still plenty of money to be made in the PC gaming community, we just need the...
  3. Mass Effect Trilogy Remasters Leaked by Retailer

I'll probably buy it regardless. ME is my favorite game by a lightyear and I still play them regularly. I'm in for a copy even if it's just refreshed textures.
  4. EVGA Is Manually Checking All GeForce RTX 3080 Orders to Counter Bots

Because this is something that has never happened before. Nvidia stated they had 10 times more traffic on launch day than ever before. Newegg had more traffic than on Black Friday. Yeah cards always sell out on launch day but nobody could've guessed POS scalpers would be spamming retailers with...
  5. PC Gamers Aren’t Happy About Devil May Cry 5’s Console-Exclusive Ray-Tracing Update

Yeah, that's usually the battle cry of the angry PC gamers.
  6. PC Gamers Aren’t Happy About Devil May Cry 5’s Console-Exclusive Ray-Tracing Update

PC gamers are rarely happy about anything. I hate to say it about a community I've been a part of since the early 80's but man we're a bunch of cry babies. I honestly can't think of the last game release that received praise from the community. Maybe Skyrim?
  7. NVIDIA Accused of Limiting GeForce RTX 30 Series Availability to Inflate Prices

Yeah I've noticed that too. He started out as the nerdiest of the PC nerd YouTubers but his peers have been fawning over him as being super smart and the "in depth guy that uses tech terms only engineers know" and I think it's going to his head. Granted next to Jayz, Linus and the Bitwit guy, he...
  8. Logitech Enables 25,600 DPI Setting for Select Gaming Mice

Lol big fan of Logitech mice but not sure why this is a benefit. I set my DPI to 400 lol.... Yeah I know it's not so much something you're gonna use as it is an indication of the sensor's ability but I'm not sure it's proving anything at this point. The Hero sensor is already surgical and nearly...
  9. NVIDIA Accused of Limiting GeForce RTX 30 Series Availability to Inflate Prices

No. The entire worldwide stock of a new video card being sold out in a matter of seconds by bots has never happened before. And you can't really compare a $700 card which is high end but still kinda mainstream to low stock of a boutique $1500 card that maybe 1% of GPU owners buy. Steve and his...
  10. NVIDIA Accused of Limiting GeForce RTX 30 Series Availability to Inflate Prices

No, this hasn't happened before at least not that I can remember. I can't remember another time when a GPU launched but was sold out, literally world wide in a matter of seconds but not only was virtually nobody was able to actually buy one but seemingly thousands of them showed up on Ebay at...
  11. NVIDIA Apologizes for “Unprecedented” GeForce RTX 3080 Demand: Flagship GPU Sells Out in Seconds, Hits $80K on eBay

I went to my local Best Buy and not only did they have nothing in stock but the sales guy said he's not sure if they're even going to be getting any, at least not any time soon. My local store carries quite a bit of PC gaming hardware including most all the 2000 series cards in stock so it's...
  12. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Founders Edition Review

First site I went to when I woke up this morning to see this review and was not disappointed. Answered all my questions and I'm actually surprised at how well this thing performs. The thing that surprises me most is the 850 watt PSU recommendation! I figured it was just marketing BS when Nvidia...
  13. AMD Radeon RX 6000 Series Dual-Fan, Triple-Fan Designs Confirmed in New Photos

I'm actually digging the looks of this cars. I think the red accent looks pretty sharp.
  14. Finished Control, it was disappointing...

I haven't played this yet but was kinda thinking about it based on all the rave reviews I keep hearing. I'm always on the lookout for a good single player game but I was never quite sure about this one.
  15. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Compute Performance Nearly 70 Percent Better Than RTX 2080 SUPER

Man I hate myself but I'm probably going to buy one of these. I was gonna hang on to my 2070 a while longer but this is a big enough performance jump that I can justify loading down the Visa for it.
  16. Crysis Remastered to Feature “Can It Run Crysis?” Mode

I think it looks good but not a whole lot better than the original....doesn't really matter cause I'm probably gonna buy it anyway. I loved the original and I'm a sucker for nostalgia. Plus I'm hoping these remasters make some money cause I'd like to see more of them. I'd love a Bioshock...
  17. NVIDIA Reiterates 750-W PSU Requirement for GeForce RTX 3090 and GeForce RTX 3080

That seems kinda steep. I've been running a 750 watt PSU for many years now (Corsair, EVGA G2, G3) but not out of necessity. Even when I was running an overclocked Bulldozer and AMD 290X video card the PSU fan hardly ever even turned on. Guess we'll have to wait and see when the reviews start...
  18. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Averages 70 to 80 Percent Better Than RTX 2080 for 4K Gaming

That's still pretty impressive regardless.100+ fps at 4K is still pretty good. Doom Eternal isn't the most demanding game out there but it's still a quality engine and it is a really good looking game.
  19. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Averages 70 to 80 Percent Better Than RTX 2080 for 4K Gaming

Yeah that's what I meant to say lolol.... Sorry, I don't math good. 😁
  20. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Averages 70 to 80 Percent Better Than RTX 2080 for 4K Gaming

This is the card I'm wanting and will be keeping an eye on. My 2070 is still doing fine but I would love to have this to really get the most out of my 240 hz monitor and I can pass down my 2070 to my kid. This does kinda make me think it's too good to be true tho. Nearly twice the performance...
