I asked in some other thread a while back that I would have liked to see how many 6000 series GPU's AMD actually has sold.
Reason was that I knew so very few that actually owned one.
I'm guessing the sales numbers are not all that flattering for AMD.
And while the TSMC 7nm proved to be very successfull for AMD, Nvidia did mostly better with 8nm, And Intel shows signs of catching up with 10nm.
I'm personally not sold on the 7nm AMD CPU design, while my 5800X runs fine and fast it's hot at idle and has temp spikes that hit the high 80's in...
I think its great that there are options.
I prefer Adobe's walled pay per month garden and it's not even expensive.
Affinity is great for retouching, not so much for Raw shooters.

3dfx would be an odd choice for branding junk like they did with Polaroid, Bell & Howell etc.
It has a very narrow audience as far as name recognition goes.
