  1. Images for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered Accidentally Leaked via Developer’s Website

Don't get your hopes up. The way I understand it the game still runs on the old engine, UE5 is just used as a graphics wrapper. So in a way this is a bigger mish mash, potentially combining the downsides of both engines.
  2. Images for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered Accidentally Leaked via Developer’s Website

Oh, existing mods most definitely won't work. If rumors are true this uses UE5. The question is whether there will be modding support at all. Because if not that will anger the community. And be a deal breaker for me as well.
  3. Images for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered Accidentally Leaked via Developer’s Website

I'd love a proper remake of Oblivion but not sure about this. It's brown. Have modern game developers ever been to nature? Cuz it's definitely not brown. Also desexualized for the modern audience, and probably body type A B and no modding support.
  4. New security protocol at work

Serious question: What does changing the password at certain intervals actually achieves? It seems to be one of those "expert" advices that seem sound at first, but is a complete waste of time in practice. If your credentials are somehow leaked, changing your password in 2 weeks time does F...
  5. Award Winning Outer Space Looter Shooter Action RPG EVERSPACE 2 Is Getting Its Next Major Expansion, “Wrath of the Ancients”, on May 12

I never heard of it either, but if its single player, I might check it out. I automatically assumed looter shooter = PvP or PvE multiplayer.
  6. Ubisoft Forms a Partnership with Tencent to Create a Subsidiary That Will Handle Its Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, and Rainbow Six IPs

They are isolating their currently in their eyes most valuable IPs, so these can't be so easily auctioned off in bankruptcy proceedings. This is the only goal here, I believe.
  7. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Gets Rated for PS5 Ahead of What Sources Say Is an April 17 Release on PlayStation Platforms

This game reminds me of Codename Eagle, and that's not a good thing. It was a WW1 game way behind its time, like this one seems to me. A game that I would find to be fine if it came out 15 years ago. The mechanics, the level design, the way the narrative is constructed all feel archaic to me...
  8. AMD Rep Gets Round of Laughter at Round-Table Event After Stating “AMD Isn’t Used to Selling Graphics Cards…”, Regarding Record High Sales

Ah, I get it. It's more like living like kids, not having any responsibilities. Because I don't think I play games any different now compared to when I wasn't a legal adult.
  9. AMD Rep Gets Round of Laughter at Round-Table Event After Stating “AMD Isn’t Used to Selling Graphics Cards…”, Regarding Record High Sales

I'm not sure they were ever listed to begin with. What does it mean to play like kids?
  10. AMD Rep Gets Round of Laughter at Round-Table Event After Stating “AMD Isn’t Used to Selling Graphics Cards…”, Regarding Record High Sales

Here in the statistically poorest country of the EU, the 5090 is not in stock at all, there are only a couple of 5080s available. From €1800 to €2200 And I thought I overpaid for my 4080 at 1200.
  11. Lian Li EDGE PSU 80+ Platinum Series Features an L-shaped Design for Direct Cable Access and a USB Hub for Multiple Controllers

Normal cases have PSU shrouds or drive cages above the PSU so you have more access to the back of the PSU than to connectors facing up. Guess it works if you specifically buy a case with this in mind that has the PSU in the open. What is the use case for an USB hub inside the computer?
  12. MicroProse Announces Knights of Frontier Valley Which It Describes as “A Challenging, Old-School-Inspired Roguelike RPG”

Sounds just like regular RPG to me. The generic description isn't really a substitute for experiencing it.
  13. Lian Li EDGE PSU 80+ Platinum Series Features an L-shaped Design for Direct Cable Access and a USB Hub for Multiple Controllers

I don't get the point. In most regular cases this makes access harder, not easier. When I read the title I pictured the connectors being on the side so you have perfect access to them after removing the side panel.
  14. MicroProse Announces Knights of Frontier Valley Which It Describes as “A Challenging, Old-School-Inspired Roguelike RPG”

I still have no idea what "roguelike" even means. But for a long time I had no idea what "soulslike" was either, then I figured it out and learnt to avoid it like the devil.
  15. AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D Delivers Nearly 20% Uplift in Performance on Windows 10 vs. Windows 11 (VBS) in New Gaming Benchmarks

Which is exactly what you can do less and less with each new "feature" update in windows. Your PC is becoming more and more Microsoft's PC on which you are only a tolerated pest.
  16. AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D Delivers Nearly 20% Uplift in Performance on Windows 10 vs. Windows 11 (VBS) in New Gaming Benchmarks

Those who are willing to sacrifice speed for security, deserve neither - Frank Benjaminson (probably) But seriously what do you mean security? I feel less secure using W11 with its built in AI, recall, and custom ad serving.
  17. High-Airflow Design Meets “Monster Truck” Aesthetics in Cooler Master’s HAF 5 Pro, a Fully Built Gaming PC with Intel Core i7-12700F and NVID...

Since when did coolermaster make pre-builts? I like their cases because they are usually cheap and have unique features. But they are MVPs quality wise. This "gaming PC" also seems to be an MVP. But while I'm willing to save money on a low quality case, making the entire system low quality is...
