  1. NVIDIA Kicks Off GeForce NOW’s 5th Anniversary by Bringing Seven Additional Games to the Cloud, Including Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and Sid Me...

Only 5 years? I could swear it's been much longer. Maybe 5 years named Geforce Now, I think it was called Grid and then shield before it. Ok I checked and Grid debuted back in 2013, I've been using it sporadically since then. Best gaming streaming service, no contest there. Still, that's not...
  2. Scarlett Johansson and Mahershala Ali Star in First Trailer for Jurassic World Rebirth, Featuring Dinosaurs “Too Dangerous for the Original Park”

I'm not so optimistic. I've seen all of them and none of them come close to the first one. the others popcorn flicks at best. I don't think this one will be any different.
  3. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Founders Edition Video Card Review

On a side note, I've seen a few posts claiming that the new transformer DLSS mode is much more improved quality than the old one. So much as DLSS balanced mode being indistinguishable from quality mode and even performance mode being much better than before.
  4. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Founders Edition Video Card Review

So why is the 5090 not anywhere twice as fast as the 5080? what's holding it back?
  5. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Founders Edition Video Card Review

Long story short get an RTX4080 while you can. No surprise here, given the specs, I didn't expect the RTX 5080 to do any better. The RTX5070Ti hopefully will be a much better option as it's supposed to be right behind the RTX4080. I'm very disappointed, I can't remember the last time a next...
  6. I'm not surprised

https://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/rtx-5080-slower-than-rtx-4090/ Going for specs alone and the performance delta between the RTX5090 and 4090, there was no way the RTX5080 would beat the 4090.
  7. Custom NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090/5080 Pricing Revealed by U.S. Retailers, Including ASUS ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 32GB GDDR7 OC Edition for $2,799.99

I read somewhere that you can't put a waterblock on an FE card as its next to impossible to disassemble. BTW there are several AIB reviews already and other than price I see no difference vs FE.
  8. New NVIDIA Workstation Graphics Card Spotted with 96 GB GDDR7 Memory on a 512-Bit Bus

I assume it has 3gb memory chips for 96 gb on a 512bit bus. I wonder if nvidia will eventually use 3gb chips on future cards. A 24gb RTX 5080 super doesn't sound bad.
  9. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Founders Edition Video Card Review

since nvidia claims the RTX5070 beats the RTX 4090, wouldn't it be fair to claim that the RTX4090 is faster than the RTX5090 (when using dlss 3.5 frame generation vs no frame gen)? :p ;)
  10. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Founders Edition Video Card Review

I don't really see a reason it's not somewhat shorter. Pretty much all 3rd party cards I've seen look gargantuan.
  11. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Founders Edition Video Card Review

Do you notice any IQ difference between DLSS4 and DLSS 3? DLSS is supposed to have better IQ
  12. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Founders Edition Video Card Review

BTW the card kind of looks somewhat small.
  13. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Founders Edition Video Card Review

Is reflex enabled on the native 4k latency tests? they seem quite high.
  14. AMD Radeon RX 9070 Series “RDNA 4” GPU Launch Has Been a Mess Because Their Prices Are “Significantly Too High,” It’s Claimed

Well, the RTX 5090 is claimed to be twice as fast as the RTX4090 using multiframegen, since multiframegen can potentially double the frames, then the 4090 would be up to twice as fast, ergo, matching the RTX5090.
  15. AMD Radeon RX 9070 Series “RDNA 4” GPU Launch Has Been a Mess Because Their Prices Are “Significantly Too High,” It’s Claimed

BTW there are rumors that DLSS framegen could be coming to even the RTX30 series and multiframe to the RTX40, would that mean that the RTX4090 would be as fast as the RTX5090?
  16. AMD Radeon RX 9070 Series “RDNA 4” GPU Launch Has Been a Mess Because Their Prices Are “Significantly Too High,” It’s Claimed

I think AMD could actually do pretty well price/performance wise. On rasterizing the 9070 should beat the 5070, so does the 9070TX vs the 5070 Ti. At first it seemed like AMD didn't have a chance, but now that the dust has settled it fares so much better. I think even AMD had doubts and...
  17. ASRock Intel Arc B570 Challenger 10GB OC Video Card Review

Techspot has a review comparing the ARC 580 with other nvidia and AMD cards using both a 5600 and 9800X3d, only the ARC card suffered severe performance loss. https://www.techspot.com/review/2940-intel-arc-b580-rereview/
  18. Over 80% of Players on GeForce RTX GPUs Activate DLSS for Boosting Performance in Games, NVIDIA Reveals

While I think the figure may be correct, I think it only applies to DLSS not Frame generation. I always use DLSS in pretty much all my games that support it and it has gradually evolved over time. Supposedly DLSS4 has even better IQ, (some people say IQ with DLSS performance mode rivals DLSS 2...
