  1. Microsoft Reveals It’s Lost the Console Wars: “We’ve Consistently Ranked Third behind PlayStation and Nintendo”

No the series S doesn't "hold back" The X is targetted at 4K & the S at 1080p. Only problem is the memory limitation for which they can use the new "texture streaming rate" parameter introduced to support 8gb Nvidia cards The real problem is "unoptimized PC ports" that target 1440p for the X...
  2. AMD Tries to Explain Lack of NVIDIA DLSS Support in AMD-Sponsored FidelityFX Super Resolution Titles: “We Believe in an Open Approach”

FSR works across all cards & doesn't discriminate between cards in terms of features/performance etc.
  3. Overclocking AMD Radeon RX 7600

The hard limits suggest that AMD is keeping open the possibility of a factory "overclocked"/uncapped 7600 xt model & possibly with 16gb vram to boot
  4. Phil Spencer Doesn’t See a Need for an Xbox Series X Pro: “We’re Set on the Hardware We Have”

True. There will probably be a new X model. MS can claim that it is a new gen console so that game devs no longer need to support the current S
  5. SAPPHIRE PULSE AMD Radeon RX 7600 GAMING OC Video Card Review

Maybe there could be a 7600 xt with extra 50w to 70w budget (& doubling vram to 16gb) for $330 to $350 But, not sure if increasing power budget massively will retain the profit margin for AMD
  6. AMD Radeon RX 7600 Video Card Review

7600 is 12%-33% more efficient than the 6650xt Theoretically AMD could double TDP to match performance of 6700xt/6750xt but may not be worth jacking up the TDP so much on a low end card...
  7. AMD Radeon RX 7600 Video Card Review

16gb 7600 should definitely be possible, because we had 6500xt 8gb Question is since RDNA 3 is more efficient than RDNA 2, will AMD release a higher TDP version to make it match the performance of 6700xt/6750xt ?
  8. NVIDIA CEO Still Cares about PC Gamers Despite AI Boom, Explains Why 8 GB of Memory for the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Is “The Right Amount”

There are no bad graphic cards, only bad prices (except ofc the 6500xt) 4060 8gb overpriced by $50 4060 ti 8gb overpriced by $100 4060 ti 16gb overpriced by $150 4070 overpriced by $200 4070 ti overpriced by $250 4080 overpriced by $300
  9. AMD Radeon RX 7600 Video Card Review

If you can move the budget up by $50, then you get the 12gb 6750xt https://www.newegg.com/msi-rx-6750-xt-mech-2x-12g-oc/p/N82E16814137735?Item=N82E16814137735
  10. AMD Radeon RX 7600 Video Card Review

Performance is a bit disappointing. I would have liked something between a 6700xt & 6750xt level. As the 700watt 7990xtx showed, RDNA 3 can scale in frequencies given the power. So maybe a 16gb 7600xt that matches 6750xt for $350 is possible !? Or a 16gb 7600xt that matches 6700xt for $330 !!??
  11. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Founders Edition Video Card Review

Interesting that AMD doesn't have a direct competitor for this card as of now. The 6750xt sells for ~$350 & the 6800 for ~$500 The 6800 would make a good comparison for the upcoming 4060 ti 16gb as they are both in the same price range I think you should compare all 4 cards (4060 ti 8gb &...
  12. NVIDIA Announces GeForce RTX 4060 Series: Available from May 24, Starting at $299

The RX 6700 XT is available for $320 https://www.newegg.com/msi-rx6700xtmech-2x12goc/p/N82E16814137640?Item=N82E16814137640
  13. NVIDIA Announces GeForce RTX 4060 Series: Available from May 24, Starting at $299

The RX 7600 should not cost more than 4060 as they are both in the same class & nvidia has more features such as frame hallucination I expect AMD to launch 7600 at $300 and sell at $270-$280 within weeks & then $250 eventually.
  14. AMD Radeon RX 7600 Surfaces at Canadian Retailer for 444 CAD (329 USD)

This is cheaper to produce than 6600/6600xt/6650xt $260 would still be profitable claims MLID 300usd likely to be sale price (before tax) in US. Might go further down depending on the price of RTX 4060
  15. AMD Radeon RX 7600 Surfaces at Canadian Retailer for 444 CAD (329 USD)

As per latest MLID leak, AMD had originally kept $330 as the placeholder in all marketing materials. It has now been revised downwards to $300 Imo, even 300usd is too high for this card. $280 would be a fair price for both AMD & consumers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xy8KuvSaP1I
  16. Report: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti (16 GB) Features a 165-Watt TDP and Different GPU Variant than 8 GB Model

  18. Hogwarts Legacy, Cyberpunk 2077, and The Last of Us Part I Top List of VRAM-Heavy PC Titles

There has been a trend of current gen console exclusive games (PS5 especially) needing more VRAM https://www.techspot.com/article/2670-vram-use-games/ There was also a video by tech yes city where they came to following conclusion: 4gb - insufficient for 1080p 6gb - minimum for 1080p low 8gb...
  19. AMD Reports Q1 2023 Financial Results: Ryzen Chip Revenue Down 65% YoY

Key point to note: Gaming is still profitable for AMD. They are not selling at a loss at CURRENT prices. So maybe they might launch RDNA 3 at "affordable" price points & yet still make a profit
