Wolfenstein: Youngblood Launching a Day Early on PC, but without Ray Tracing

It's bigger and stronger every year. I've been going every year since 2005. In fact, I'm heading over there right after work today.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER Video Card Review

I'm halfway tempted to go from my aging 1080ti to the 2080 Super if for no other reason than the updated tech and halfway decent (not crazy but whatever) gains in performance. But man, I wish the 2080Ti wasen't so stupid expensive. I just can't justify it.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood Launching a Day Early on PC, but without Ray Tracing

Quakecon 2019 is almost certainly the reason why. It starts tomorrow (the 25th).

Are you an AMD or Intel guy?

Brand loyalty is silly. Buy what's best for you and what you want to accomplish. Apple vs Android vs Microsoft vs AMD vs Intel vs Nvidia....different tools for different needs.

Is your BIOS up to date?

I'll flash the BIOS to the latest whenever I build a PC new, and then once a year I'll check out the latest release and see if the features added are worth flashing. Usually not. But sometimes.

What GPU(s) are you running in your main rig?

Currently running a 1080Ti. At my resolution, it still maxes out whatever I through at it. I'd love for the 2080 Ti to drop in price....but until a 4K monitor comes out that I think is worth the upgrade, I'm going to be sticking to the 1080 Ti for some time.

AMD NAVI and Ryzen COMPUTEX Re-Cap and Analysis

Great article. If Zen 2 performs as well as they are hyping, then I get the feeling it's going to be the FX 64 of our generation. It's been a long time coming.

What CPUs are in your Machines?

Currently I'm rocking a 9900k cooled by a Corsair H150i and Kryotech Paste. Boosts to 4.8 ghz....I haven't really felt any need to get it to 5.
