Not sure. Its strange but not a worry when literally every other metric on your system is slower by several hundred mb as second. I wonder if that's a cpu design or chipset failure. Or maybe it's the rated specs of 2tb to 4tb? Honestly performance is about the multithreaded random real...

Intel States That Its $5 Billion Collaboration Deal with NVIDIA Is Complementary to Its Roadmap and Will Continue to Have GPU Offerings

Yea IBM is all mainframe, VLS (Very large system) and cloud now. But they are a very nice company with a decent stock price compared to when I was working for them a couple decades ago. Not that there is causation with that. lol.

Switch your test to the NVME test in crystal diskmark. I had the same issue with bad numbers. Here's the set I posted in the thread for it in Storage. I want to call out this is a PCIE 5 x 4 drive. 9100 pro 4tb on a x870E motherboard in the slot direct to the CPU that is a Ryzen 9 9950x3d...

Your random 4k numbers are off a good bit if memory serves. I was sure I was pulling 2 gig. Thats about half.. may be the 2tb and 4tb drive differences though.

    Intel Core Ultra 9 285K & Ultra 5 245K CPU Review

@tylyou know what. Youre right. For you. Congratulatiins? for me i use one high end large nvme. On my platform I know i have two or more generations of cpus I can drop into it. If amd releases a 24 core 48 thread cpu for it I can update my bios and swap to it. Yes Intel has more...

I've had the AM4 platform and went from a 3900x to a 5900x but bought new motherboard with it as well. basically whole system... I'm not really concerned having to replace it all when I upgrade... but that's just me I suppose.

    Intel Core Ultra 9 285K & Ultra 5 245K CPU Review

Are you paid to be here, or is your first post a defense of Intel just a coincidence? Either way I personally want Intel to pull through. Competition is the best. But I will buy whatever CPU meets my need the best for the price I am willing to pay when I am willing to pay it. Same for the...

Running FSR 4 on RDNA2 Graphics Cards Can Improve Image Quality, but with up to a 10–20% Performance Penalty

Agreed, I just wonder what the performance lost is attributed to older drivers as opposed to FS4... though that might just be picking nits.

Running FSR 4 on RDNA2 Graphics Cards Can Improve Image Quality, but with up to a 10–20% Performance Penalty

That is interesting. The problem is AMD drivers have such a fine wine effect over time... meaning newer drivers on older cards are highly beneficial to performance. I wonder how much performance was lost JUST by going to the older driver versions.... THEN how much additional was lost with the...
