Yeah, love my Steam Deck - I thought I would mostly use it for work (ie: companion for night shift) but I find I'm logging onto it at home frequently.
The types of games I mainly play on it are games that are suitable for a small screen, ie: retro-inspired titles, 2D titles, JRPGs, turn based...
Hoping Part 2 follow this shortly after... was really hoping Sony would bundle them together for the eventual PC release.
I thoroughly enjoyed Last of Us on PS4 when I played it years ago, but remember thinking how much better the gunplay would be with a KB+M, so will be picking up this...
I've been liking XFX's recent designs (they're thicc and juicy).
These latest ones are nice too, and I like the sharper angles - though I'm not a huge fan of the lightly coloured backplate. I'd have preferred a dark plate myself, though who knows maybe there will be a 'black' edition that...
The way I understood it - was that it was supposed to be the same experience as the Series X but at a lower resolution. That, combined with GamePass would have made it a perfect gift for a kid/casual.
But with the way devs continually have problems developing for the Series S, I think MS...
I guess the good news being that it sounds like Sega intends for the S version to be 60fps and it's a bug that's locking it to 30fps.
I really liked the idea behind the S series (same performance of an X, but at a lower res), but it sounds like devs are having a hard time hitting that metric...
I've enjoyed the series too - I found the second season dipped a bit (even with the first season's weird time hopping), but Cavill was a surprise to me how good he was in the role. Not a big fan of a recast, but I do feel Hemsworth "looks" more like how I imagine Geralt to look. No idea how...
Yar, tough sell to migrate from AM4 to AM5 currently (though if I was building new I'd for sure go AM5).
Looking forward to see how the 7000X3D's perform, but think I won't be migrating until the second revisions come out.
I'm sure they're referring to the Blu-Ray optical drive. Which would be a great move, tbh. I prefer the clean look of a drive-less console, but admit that a external drive would definitely come in handy (ie: physical game gifted, blu ray movie).
Yar, agreed there. Feels like it's time for something fresh from Naughty Dog (though Uncharted and Last of Us have been great).
I'm hoping TLOU1+2 get PC ports soon, it doesn't matter how pretty the game is on PS5, the big deal for me is that KB+M control.
Yeah, can't say I'm really seeing a need for a return to the Nolan universe. Felt like it's story came to its conclusion - which I appreciate.
Now if Ledger was still alive, I'd want to see one final meeting between that Joker and Batman.
Yeah, I seem to recall CDPR also not showing the base console versions of the game before release (or it mightve been brief snippets.)
They knew what a terrible state the game was in and were trying to hide it.
I wish they'd copy the Evercade 'Retrocade' (iirc) console. That one has a console which you buy standalone game packs for, and the game packs usually have a few games on them (usually by publisher).
Take that style of console, but have Sega hardware cartridges to buy (ie: a 'Genesis'...
Best part of the movie are the Sam Raimi horror elements - if they ever do a R-rated live action Marvel Zombies film, they need to get Raimi involved.
Otherwise, it's a very 'by the numbers' MCU superhero film.
I didn't recognize the name either, but I do remember their previous name: "THQ Nordic".
I'm glad with the move, felt like these series weren't getting the push they deserved/needed from Square Enix. I also think this puts Square Enix in a more affordable position for Sony to purchase.
