Yar, not sure if I can get excited for any of these GPU launches. Most excited I've been recently for a GPU was having my queue come up for a EVGA 3080 Hybrid at MSRP (which promptly replaced my 3090).

Yar, especially considering it's not until 2022. Not sure if the PS4 needs a big first party exclusive at that point in its lifecycle.

Kudos to AMD for making it compatible with Nvidia's products. Can't help but feel this is going to repeat Freesync vs Gsync - Gsync's the better tech but hardware limited, while Freesync is good enough and more widely available.

If Intel can manufacture these GPUs en masse, and with the current GPU market being the state it's in - this could be the perfect storm for Intel.

I dunno, 'second version' makes me think it will be a remixed version of the original - maybe with a new playable character or a couple of new areas thrown in (ala Sega Saturn version of Castlevania: SotN).

I think it's a cool idea - but I also thought Steam Machines were a cool idea too and that didn't really turn out. I guess what this SteamPal has in its favour is that it's Steam themselves designing the hardware so quality won't be all over the place. Still, it'd be nice to have a seamless...

I dunno, I think I'd rather take that 1080p @ 60fps upscaled to 4k than 1440p @ 30fps. Hopefully both versions will get a 60fps mode.

For sure give the first season a viewing. The episodes are very short too, 8-ish minutes and self contained, so you'd know pretty quick if it's for you or not.

Yeah, finished it this weekend as well (short season). Also agree that it's not as good as the first season. Starting to feel less experimental and more standard fare. Some of the first season episodes were haunting and memorable - I'd be surprised if I remember much at all from season 2...

Love to get a Panzer Dragoon Saga remake *and* a sequel to it. The Shining series (both the dungeon crawler and strategy variants) need some sequels done up too.

In defense of XBox, I'm pretty sure they offer downloadable codes for game purchases through retail (same with Nintendo software), so I don't think their digital only console would be affected by the lawsuit.

Yar, and to be fair - we could probably buy every revision of a console as they're released and it'll still be cheaper than the rate we upgrade our PCs at.

Those are pretty slick looking laptops. I've been considering grabbing a laptop of some sort to complement my desktop. This idea got put on the backburner with covid cancelling all my work travel, mind you.
