NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Founders Edition Review

Yar, not sure if I can get excited for any of these GPU launches. Most excited I've been recently for a GPU was having my queue come up for a EVGA 3080 Hybrid at MSRP (which promptly replaced my 3090).

Microsoft’s Big Windows Announcement Is Rumored to Be Windows 11

I dunno; Feels like every other Windows release is a bust. IE: Windows XP, good; Windows Vista, blergh; Windows 7, good; Windows 8, blergh; Windows 10, good...

GIGABYTE Releases Full Specifications of AORUS FO48U Gaming Monitor: 4K OLED, HDMI 2.1, 120 Hz

I'm not really a monitor guy, but doesn't 135 cd/m2 seem low? (Feel free to ridicule and mock if this is a simple answer!)

Santa Monica Studio Delays God of War Sequel to 2022

Yar, especially considering it's not until 2022. Not sure if the PS4 needs a big first party exclusive at that point in its lifecycle.

Santa Monica Studio Delays God of War Sequel to 2022

Fine by me... a little concerned that it's going to also be a PS4 title. Was hoping development would focus solely on PS5, but I'm sure it'll still be great.

AMD Launching FidelityFX Super Resolution on June 22 for Radeon and GeForce Graphics Cards

I bet when midrange GPUs handle native 4k without breaking a sweat, we will see a return of the render high then downscale.

AMD Launching FidelityFX Super Resolution on June 22 for Radeon and GeForce Graphics Cards

Kudos to AMD for making it compatible with Nvidia's products. Can't help but feel this is going to repeat Freesync vs Gsync - Gsync's the better tech but hardware limited, while Freesync is good enough and more widely available.

Intel’s Flagship Gaming GPU Will Reportedly Perform Just below NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3080 and Be Priced Very Aggressively

If Intel can manufacture these GPUs en masse, and with the current GPU market being the state it's in - this could be the perfect storm for Intel.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Is Getting a Sequel

I dunno, 'second version' makes me think it will be a remixed version of the original - maybe with a new playable character or a couple of new areas thrown in (ala Sega Saturn version of Castlevania: SotN).

Valve’s “SteamPal” Is a Switch-Like Portable Gaming PC That Reportedly Supports the Entire Steam Library

I think it's a cool idea - but I also thought Steam Machines were a cool idea too and that didn't really turn out. I guess what this SteamPal has in its favour is that it's Steam themselves designing the hardware so quality won't be all over the place. Still, it'd be nice to have a seamless...

THQ Nordic Deactivates Biomutant’s Native 4K Support on PlayStation 5 for “Technical Reasons”

    I dunno, I think I'd rather take that 1080p @ 60fps upscaled to 4k than 1440p @ 30fps. Hopefully both versions will get a 60fps mode.

Intel’s First Discrete Desktop GPU Goes on Sale as Part of CyberPowerPC Gaming System

I'm going to wait for the FPSr verdict for this GPU.

Twitch Introduces Local Subscription Pricing, Reducing the Price of Subscriptions in Some Countries

I dunno about you guys, but I'd pay to watch a Zarathustra stream.

Netflix Debuts Love, Death & Robots Season 2

For sure give the first season a viewing. The episodes are very short too, 8-ish minutes and self contained, so you'd know pretty quick if it's for you or not.

Netflix Debuts Love, Death & Robots Season 2

Yeah, finished it this weekend as well (short season). Also agree that it's not as good as the first season. Starting to feel less experimental and more standard fare. Some of the first season episodes were haunting and memorable - I'd be surprised if I remember much at all from season 2...

Sega Mulls Reboots of Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, and Other Classic IPs

Love to get a Panzer Dragoon Saga remake *and* a sequel to it. The Shining series (both the dungeon crawler and strategy variants) need some sequels done up too.

Sony Faces Lawsuit for Limiting Purchases of Digital Games to PlayStation Store

In defense of XBox, I'm pretty sure they offer downloadable codes for game purchases through retail (same with Nintendo software), so I don't think their digital only console would be affected by the lawsuit.

Report: PlayStation 5 Redesign with New 6-Nanometer AMD CPU to Enter Production in 2022

Yar, and to be fair - we could probably buy every revision of a console as they're released and it'll still be cheaper than the rate we upgrade our PCs at.

Samsung’s Galaxy Book Pro Unboxing Video Has Lots of Legal Disclaimers

Those are pretty slick looking laptops. I've been considering grabbing a laptop of some sort to complement my desktop. This idea got put on the backburner with covid cancelling all my work travel, mind you.
